    Beginner Core Routine Recommendations?

I don't have a specific day for abs/core because I'm doing allpro. I'd like to work my core on off days (Except the day before my heavy workout). I'm curious about what exercises are best for abs, obliques, v lines and anything else in my core that I should target. I'd also like to know how many exercises, sets and reps I should be doing in that routine. Thanks.

    Weighted Russian twist

    3 sets of 15-20 reps

    Ball Ab Raises
    Video: youtube.com/watch?v=AnbCyG1Yl98
    3 sets of 10-15 reps

    Plank
    3 sets of 40-60 seconds

Weighted crunch holding the weight above you (you can use an ab machine to replace this)
    Video: youtube.com/watch?v=TYGY9-kG9hM
    3 Sets of 15 reps

That's a good starting point. You can add more complex/advanced movements later on.

I personally have never done direct ab work but have always had strong core. I always have done deadlift and squats though for 10years. I know your body will have to strengthen its core given you exert yourself honestly during the big 3 lifts. Squats, Deads! maybe not so much bench but fkn chest day dude.
