It has been realized and established that creating new Rants after the work day has ended or on the weekend is bad. Not enough traffic of regulars in the beginning and there is a large influx of the randos.

I guarantee the rant would come up at some point.

Item 1. Spent $40 on wipers from Amazon that said they would fit my car but arrived today and don't fit. Instead I could have spent $7 at Subaru having the correct blades fitted while sitting there scratching my nuts.

Item 2. Went to order a pizza and couldn't find my wallet. Looked around the house then drove to park I'd spent the afternoon at and walked around with a flashlight close to midnight looking like a creep. On the way home it occurred to me that I was not wearing jeans but a pair of MC Hammer sized sweatpants.

Got home, checked the back pocket of my jeans, and there it was. Ordered my pizza an hour later.

Cliffs: Yeah I'm a f**kwit m8.

I went to a few auto parts stores on the weekend and every Croydon cock gobbler had the same idea. John Holmes sized blades for SUVs were sold out. I said f**k it and ordered them online. Half the cost was shipping.

I figured the dealer would try to sell me Subaru gold plated, diamond encrusted wiper blades but it turns out they actually fit blade refills for a decent price. I did not know that at the time.

I use a water repellent on the windshield so I only need the wipers at low speed and on the lowest setting even in heavy rain. I really didn't need Z0MG!!11! amazing ones.

Gotcha. Yeah, I would presume that the dealer wipers would've been expensive as well. Cool that they're cheap.

I know down here in Florida, I try to find the cheapest ones. They tend to last about 1 year (maybe 2 years if you go out of your way to try to lengthen them) no matter what with all of the heat baking the rubber.
