Hi all,
I am now 33years old. out of shape 210lbs, 5.6 height, lot of fat and most importantly i smoke(but decided to quit from today)
12 years ago, i have participated in bodybuilding competitions and was a black belt holder.
Unfortunately, i stopped working out for stupid reasons and started smoking a pack a day.
And now after 12years i realized how dumb and stupid i am.
I now decided to get back my body into shape!
My question is, can i start and see the results when i reached 32years?
I do not have any sickness or chronic disease like Blood pressure or diabetics or even joint pains.
I am still flexible! Probably that karate i practiced 12years ago helped to be still flexible!
I need help, it is 9 pm here today, i decided to give up smoking and starting to go to gym tomorrow at 5AM.
P.S sorry for my bad English.

I'll give you an advice that not many people can give you. Not the type that tells you to start slow, or start counting calories, or live on a deficit, or lose fat first then build muscle, or write your goals down on paper, or measure your results, or eat lots of proteins.
I'll tell you this: Download an audiobook app with a fitness book on your mobile and start listening while doing cardio.
Might sound like a dumb advice BUT a good highly-rated popular audiobook on fitness contains structured in-detail advice that gives you knowledge of what to do and motivation to do it. It's like a personal trainer in your pocket, and is MUCH better than listening to music while working out.

Congrats on wanting to get back.If you've done it once you can do it again!
You are going to discover, first hand the wonder of muscle memory.I had a lengthy layoff from the gym to caregive family, got back into it and muscle came back faster than before and BETTER than before.Honest.Since you already know what to do and the rules haven't changed,I won't bore you on that, just go ahead and do it,it may be baby steps at first, but - well, you know the story!
And you're 32. Whaaaa,whaaaaa...I'm 62 and look competion ready. The only thing that can stop you is you.

Hey don't be so hard on yourself! The important thing is you realize you want to make a change, and that's huge. At 33 your body is absolutely still capable of getting back into great shape. A few things that may help - start slow as you get back into exercise to avoid injury, focus on proper form over weight. Commit to your quit plan, smoking will only hold you back. Most of all, be patient and kind to yourself. You've got this - changing habits takes time but every workout is a step in the right direction. We're all rooting for you! Feel free to check in here for support. You've got this!
