All Natural. No Libido, ED, but HIGH Testosterone

    Hi folks,

I've come to you in some desperation as I don't know what's going on with me. I have consulted many doctors, and they have no answers either.

I am a fit 36M who takes no supplements or drugs whatsoever and have not for 2 years, after having an experience with Finasteride where I got sexual side effects. But it seems like my body is just out of whack now, even though my hormones look good on paper.

The only thing of interest to doctors has been that my total Testosterone has DOUBLED since I stopped taking the finasteride 2 years ago. But they say it can't be related and assume I should be fit like a bull given my T is touching 1000 ng/Dl naturally when it used to be only ~530.

This would be fine except I have no libido, almost never any morning wood, ED, lack of motivation for pretty much everything. My nuts hurt sometimes, and I swear they are getting smaller. No depression or anxiety; been checked out by several therapists. I just seem to have fallen flat. It's bizarre.

Anyway, I figured bodybuilders who mess with hormones would have a wealth of knowledge on what this could be since the doctors don't know. Everything seems in range or at least where doctors just sort of shrug and say it's fine. SHBG has always been high for me, and it's never been an issue before, and it's even much lower now than it used to be. Free T is up from historical levels too.

Estrogens, LH, and FSH seem to be around their historical values. Just total T has skyrocketed and has stayed between 850 and 1000 for about 2 years now.

I don't know HOW such much total T could cause this problem when I wasn't taking steroids or doing anything with exogenous materials.

Have any bodybuilders experienced this? Thoughts on what the issue could be and/or how to correct it? I'm pretty much out of options at this point unless Mayo clinic wants to look at me, but I doubt they will.

    Thanks!!

I don't mess with my hormones but I do have common sense. What do you think Finasteride does? It suppresses DHT, now that's as much messing with male hormones as people who take "vitamin S".

Unless your T is crazy low or crazy high you may not notice, so stop thinking T is the biggest thing. It's a complex spiders web of interrelated hormones . I know enough to know that I know Jack Sht and this is the realm of a specialist not a family doc (unless they previously worked in that specialism)

If I were you... I'd do some research on Finasteride sides then speak to a qualified doc (not some random internet weirdo like me) and find a specialist doc.

Who knows, maybe you need a month off work away from stress and spend that time outdoors. Get a job as a farmhand for a month or two somewhere remote.

    Good luck. Get well soon!
