Like other people are saying, it looks pretty obvious she wasn't prepared at all. She's bordering obese and thinks she would be able to row for hours on end every single day for 3+ months? Being in the middle of a storm on a tiny rowboat is probably why she realized she wasn't cut out for this, hence the distress call.

Pretty much; 150 days at sea with only what she can fit on the boat. Considering the caloric density of bodyfat, and that having extra fat won't hold you back as it would on a run, this actually made the most sense.

This is awesome, did she officially end her journey already? I remember hearing Magnum (Tom Sellec) talking about this in one of the episodes. Basically he said it was possible, but you have to hop on some type of current and ride it to god knows where.
