Beta-alanine is a dipeptide made from alanine and histidine of which 2.212kg of beef gives 25549mg alanine and 15219mg histidine according to "pomegranate apps" app called nutrients. Although while typing this up here I feel these numbers do not add up. Can anyone shed some light on this?
how much of each amino acid actually makes up the dipeptide beta-alanine and would there be any benefit supplementing in this instance?
