    this routine will be better for faster muscle gain?

    - Squat 3x8
    - Bench Press 3x8
    - Rows 3x8
    - Overhead Press 3x8
    - Pull up 3x8
    - Deadlift 1x8

    3x a week

    That would be excellent for a beginner imo.

    You're gonna burn out fast though. By the time you've blasted through your noob gains, this will be too difficult to keep up.
