I do not deny the possibility of gaining muscle mass as vegans if they eat massive quantities of vegetation for the protein required. But putting themselves on some higher moral ground for not eating meat is balderdash...nice way to said BS.

How can you visualize training a muscle if you don't know its structure?

There's no doubt that you can support such a body with a vegan lifestyle. I know of people that are and do, one of them even founded a vegan foods company. Lots of plant based foods that yield the same results. Very expensive in comparison to the carnivore diet many of us follow though.

I think part of the reason why there's a high correlation between meat eating diets and cancer is because

    a. There are simply WAY more meat eaters than vegans in the world, so the odds are heavily, heavily weighed against them.
    b. People who are vegan tend to be more health conscious. So again, the chances of finding a sedentary, unhealthy and obese meat eater are substantially greater than finding a vegan who isn't health conscious.

IMO it’s not a healthy or sustainable diet if you have to take supplements in order to meet basic micros. That goes for any "diet" meat included or not.

I completely agree. Especially veganism compared to other forms of vegetarianism.

I did have a problem with the MFT28 diet, and how it was promoted. But that, by no means, makes it right to make jokes about the way Plitt died.

Of course. The problem is, these studies never control for quality of diet, their actual diet (they self report it twice a year normally), their activity levels, and oftentimes not even for age or gender. They're so scientifically unsound as to not be worth the paper they're printed on, yet all these vegans are so brain addled from their numerous deficiencies that they shout down anybody who points out how full of **** they are. The only halfways reasonable argument in favor of veganism (or vegetarianism for that matter) are moral ones, which fall apart if you're like my family and by cruelty free, pastured livestock since you're not even buying into industrial meatpacking. At this point I can't stand vegans anymore.

I'm not shallow or arrogant, but I'm only saying this because he flat out made fun of a dudes death. The man's hideous, I bet he just hates on fitness dudes because he'll never look good no matter how many carrots he shoves up his ass.
