What certs would you recommend after CCNA?

I was gonna wake up at 4 AM to study today but that didn't work out. It's now 9:45 and I'm hitting the practice tests and taking notes.

Goal is to have the Net+ and Security+ before new years. After that CCNA before April 26th(my birthday =D )

    How goes studying?

I used Professor Messer and Mike Myers book, and practice tests of course.

Edit: 12 hours of studying today, I'm beat

So I Just realized if I were to get my CCNA I'd be working in the command line. I do not want to do that. Are there any jobs out there that don't require that?

I haven't been in here in a long time, but during the last year I left the systems engineering side of the house and became a software engineer. Still focusing on devops and cloud but now I'm creating tools for app devs and IT ops to manage and deploy their stuff. I mostly work with python, groovy, and go as my primary programming languages. I'm currently learning java and typescript/javascript because most of the apps I work with are written in those languages.

My take on it based on what I'm reading is that it seems to be kind of like a jack of all trades type of environment. Seems to take some networking/cloud knowledge along with linux and programming.

I'm in the networking field and I honestly love my job, but I would love to do something that involves python since I seem to know it a decent amount.

It seems to be a good blend of Infrastructure and Software Development and I feel that might be the direction I want to go, but I don't really understand it at this point. Once I get my CCNP I will probably try to pivot into Cyber, but still not quite sure yet.
I used to be in the networking field too before I made the jump into devops. Devops is the most overly used title out there. I've seen it used for noc and software engineer roles. IMO the real devops title is what google calls "site reliability engineers".

I work on getting applications deployed and monitoring health of apps. I also create terraform modules, CICD pipelines, custom internal tools to automate and assist other teams in maintaining their environments and enforcing security standards.

I also haven't checked in in a while. I'm recently moving out of the SOC and moving into Cloud Security Engineering. Looking forward to the new role, didn't really like being a manager or the SOC work tbh (maybe from the management perspective anyway). I'm the only guy on the team with cloud exp so it seemed like the natural move since I originally applied to this org for an engineering position that was filled by someone else and they brought me on in the SOC.

What do you guys think about the WGU cybersecurity degree? Comes with 14 IT certs. Basic A+, security+,network+ and many others.

Starting it as a 30 year old career changer. Have my CPA license and just got out of the navy working on electronics.

I know I’ll probably start at a help desk position. Just don’t feel like doing accounting anymore. So far I’ve been enjoying studying for the A+.

Sounds like a plan. Go for it. It's not easy but it'll get you prepped the most without actual real world experience.
