How much protein do I need, really?

    Because everyone says differently.

Some say 1.5g per kg, some say at least 2.2g per kg. I'm confused.

Approx 1g/lb bodyweight is more than enough.

Some people say .8g/lb-1g/lb but I think it depends on the individual person. Some people notice more gains with a higher protein intake, and others may see the same gains with less. I personally think 1g/lb is a good amount.

If you're a beginner and bulking, 1.5 per kg will be enough.

If you're advanced and cutting, it could be too little.

0.8 per lb while bulking is good enough.
