Been a slow first month but lost a total of 3.5lbs so not happy but not sad considering I had small consistency in my diet & exercise. Definitely going to double that in July! Keep at it to all and don't let those 1 or 2 big meal days put you off!

Hello All,
I'm still around, just recovering from another hell week which proves I'm still cursed.
Father's Day weekend I was away with the group at Scout Camp (not the best place to be when trying to cut, especially since the person who did the grocery shopping for camp didn't exactly ensure we had an ample supply of fresh veggies available.)
Monday night the basement flooded due to a huge rainstorm that blew through my area. Couldn't get out of work early as power outages from the same storm that caused the flood wreaked havoc at work and we had a bunch of machines down.
stayed up late Tuesday night cleaning up and forgot to PM my weigh in until I woke up at like 5 am on Wednesday and remembered. Then I was out of town for training and living on restaurant food for a few days.
Got home and finished the clean up only to have our washing machine die on us. 3 hours and $200 later I got it working again after replacing the drain pump assembly.
Now I am at work and it is a little after 2 am(yes, back on night shift which really screws with my eating habits among other things). I'll step on the scale after I wake up around 3 pm and see what happens. Hoping for a push but won't be surprised to see an increase back to around 208 - 209.
Good luck everyone. Looking forward to seeing the continued progress from everyone."Success requires no apologies, failure permits no alibis"

Sorry about your back Sciatica Mike! I hope you feel better soon.
My weight today: 175.9 I worked hard this week so I'm happy I was able to undo the damage from PMS week and get to the lowest weight I've been in months. I'd been on that stupid plateu for over a year.

Good week, but I indulged and binged a bit on Saturday night. Eating around 4k over my daily goal of 2k.
That being said I regrouped on Sunday and hit a 24 hour fast on Monday (it had been a while and I enjoy doing one every so often).
Anyway on Saturday I found myself around 179. I was happy to see today's number at 179.4. While I'm sure the fast helped I also know it's a sign of good things to come. Two and a half weeks left until my tournament and it's looking like I should be able to get down to 176, just so long as I follow my plan!Pugilistic linguistics

152lbs today. Feeling good. Slacked a bit in the middle of the month but forced myself to diet hard the last 2 weeks.
Damn, I'm still fat

213.8 this morning. Tiny loss from my weigh in last Tuesday but I'll take it, especially considering how badly I ****ed up this weekend.
Overall I lost 6.2 lbs in June. Weight loss is definitely starting to come a little bit slower now but still making good progress I'd say.
I set a new goal today, be under 200 by August 1st. It's gonna be very challenging to hit that but I have a feeling I'll get close. I've reached a point where I'm not as desperate to lose weight as when I was in the 260s. I'm still dedicated but I'm starting to enjoy the journey a bit of that makes sense at all...
Can't wait to see the results of my progress this next month, I have a feeling the next 13 lbs are going to be the most noticeable.Feb 02: 268.0 lbs

Not a great week for me by any stretch, weighing in at 252. Drank and ate pretty much at maintenance for a lot of the week though so not too surprised - and been good both the Monday and Tuesday so far this week so hopefully next week will finally get me below 250! Great job everyone.

What routine/programs are you doing on your cut???
Hey guys, as the end of this month is upon us I was hoping to liven things up a bit and hopefully get people sharing idea's and tips. Maybe we could have weekly questions/discussions related to our cutting goals to keep everyone motivated. So to get started, What is your routine program during this cut?

Anyone taking creatine?
I was taking creatine before this thread and it definitely helped me add a few lbs to my lifts but I found I ate more at the time. I'm thinking of going back to boost my lifts but I don't want to see my weight increase (even from water retention). Is anyone using creatine right now and seeing very little weight increase from water?

I've been taking it via 3 capsules daily (not sure on mg, will get later) and not really had any problems from it, though I did only start a week ago so that may explain how I had such a weak week in part. But eh, numbers on the scale are just that, if you're managing to lift more and don't /look/ heavier than I don't see any potential water weight gain as a negative.
As for workout, honestly, I've been slacking. I still hate going to the gym, my local feels especially judgey, so I tend to stick to the dumbell set (adjustable weight) I've got at home and do some fairly typical stuff 3-4 times a week. Pushing it more this week.
On my own positive note, I got my first "Have you lost weight?" this week. Always fun.IIFYM

Hey this is a great idea!
My routine is simple.. I lift and run 3x a week and do steady state cardio (60mins) 3x a week. I follow flexible dieting/IIFYM way of eating. Last week I fit an ice cream sundae at the end of my days and was able to drop 2.7lbs by the end of the week. It may not seem like a lot but I was trapped on a plateau for several months.
What is your routine? What's the meaning of life?

I have been getting very frustrated with my lifting, stalled out hardcore... which demotivates me so much... I pretty much stopped lifting entirely. I progressed quickly (probably newb gains) then pretty much slammed into a wall. I kept at it for almost two months but couldnt get my numbers any higher. I tried taking breaks, deloading, upping carbs, etc.. and I always end up stalling at the exact same numbers. Is it just do to my 2lb/week deficit, as well as running 3x per week? How can I stay motivated without seeing any progress?

Well, I was pleasantly surprised with the scale when I got up this afternoon...the official weigh in was 206.0 lbs.
I also recently re-worked my Macro's and found that I was not getting enough fats in on a daily basis. Based on a target weight of 180 lbs I worked them out to 90 g/day and went back over the days I had tracked in the last few weeks and found I was only hitting about 50 g/day. The past 3-4 days eating more fat and I have really noticed a difference in my cravings, which are nearly non-existent now. Hopefully, I have my self inline for a successful few weeks during the month of July."Success requires no apologies, failure permits no alibis"

Nice... walking is amazing for fat loss, i get so ripped when i can be bothered to walk in the morning. Started it back up this week actually just 6 miles a day.
I believe i read you have no access to a gym and you are doing Body weight work outs?
Are you just currently doing push ups and sit ups?Start of my diet 03/06/2014 - 189.5lbs 25-30% BF
