    Shoes

Looking to get some shoes for deadlifting, squats, bench, etc. I don't compete, but I'm looking for something. I understand a lot of you wear chucks for deadlifting, but are they good for squats and other lifts? Also, I'm not crazy about the way they look. So, I found some other shoes I'm wondering if would be a good alternative and if any of you have used them. I'm looking for a shoe I can use for all the lifts. They're called Reebok Light TR's. They have a 4MM heel to toe drop. Here's what they look like: http://www.reebok.com/us/reebok-cros...tr/V59968.html
They're customizable so you can make the shmexy

Long story short before you're reprimanded for not searching.

    1. Flats are awesome for Powerlifting.

    2. Weightlifting shoes with a heel are great if you have ankle mobility issues, and are usually better for Olympic lifts.

    3. The shoes you linked are very popular, and are getting great reviews across the board. Buy them.

You're not wearing Chucks for how they look, you are wearing them for what they do: give you a flat base with little to no compression. Are you doing so much squat and DL work that you need special shoes like Adipowers or Romaleos? Are you lifting that much weight? Keep in mind that Arnold used to squat barefoot. I'd start out inexpensive until you are certain what you need.

Oh, and don't forget to match your shoes to your belt. . . .

You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

Have a pair of TR's. They work perfectly for me. Use Chucks for everything but DL's and squats and have found the TR's to work better for me than the chucks. Good buy for me in my opinion. Now to match my outfit though. Adds 50 pounds to my lifts I've been told!

Exactly. The take-away, OP, is to coordinate your bodybuilding attire.
