Can you believe it's already the 21st?

Weight - 201
Maintenance calories - 2769
Cutting calories - 2269
Week loss - 3.4
Total loss - 9.8
Another great week. Only now though am I starting to get those days ... about once a week, where I can really feel the deficit. Lethargic, sluggish ... it's not pleasant but this is where you gotta push through. You have to really want to want it.
Next week, hoping I get under 200. I haven't been under 200 in about 2 years. I will treat myself to a very nice hair cut for the partner

Final weigh in of January

Maintenance calories - 2764
Cutting calories - 2264
Week loss - .6lb
Total loss - 10.4lb
Experienced a "whoosh" this week in water weight.
Weighed in on Saturday and Sunday mornings, both times I clocked in at 199.6lb.
Work had the Friday off and also the Monday off for Australia day so it was 4 days of being rather sedentary. I still did my 1 hour walks on those days but rest of the day I was glued to my PC playing Simcity 4 lol
Definitely showed with my weigh-in the lack of energy expenditure not going to work has on me.
Overall I'm still happy. Took my weekly photo and noticing the difference from day 1. 0.6lb is still a loss!

Great week and I guess counted for last weeks small loss.
I am kind of guessing I will stay the same for next weeks weigh in or possibly even put more in but who knows! Progress is progress!

Got a pizza from Dominos on sunday morning that was ... probably not cooked all the way through ...
Had some ... ahem ... very messy bathroom trips past few days but still managed to get my calories in, although I fear they may have just gone right through me.
Also had my first neg on this sight cause I said cheat meals hinder progress. And I was told I was wrong.
Yes, of course having a cheat meal, eating over maintenance when your goal is to lose weight clearly isn't hindering progress ... smh.

Had my first "test" on the weekend on Valentines day. I tried as much to relax while eating out and made an effort to be sensible and not go overboard.
I had lamb ribs when we went out and some juice. It was a great day and definitely helped for me to not worry about those special days.

I was feeling pretty optimistic about this weigh in. And I stepped off the scale feeling over the moon. Breaking under 200 was fantastic but getting under 190 feels just as good.
8 weeks in, this is the time where I'm really starting to feel the effects of weight loss. Working on a tiny little Japanese printing machine, getting between the units was hard at 220. Although it's still hard, I'm much more flexible moving around between them and can actually twist around.
A pair of shorts I occasionally wore at 220 (because they were super tight) are now falling off. No joke!

Had a social meeting with guys from work on saturday. Definitely went over maintenance. Consumed around ~6000 calories. It was an isolated incident and a special occasion so it's back on track as usual!Last edited by chewbrahca91; 03-04-2015 at 04:23 PM.

My goal is to get down to 150, and do a year long very clean bulk (~200-300 calorie surplus).
However, I may cut down lower as I am more than guaranteed to be skinny-fat at 150. I can probably use the momentum of being in a deficit for ~8 months (estimated time to get down to 150) to just push through, maybe down to 130 or so, so I can bulk from a leaner base, but we'll just wait and see!

8th of April, 2015.
Weight is the SAME as last week!
Had a fantastic week with my partner and families for Easter.
Didn't break the bank but I relaxed like everyone else did!
And I came out the other side even
Back on track as usual.
And something I want to stress - don't be "that guy/girl" who doesn't want to eat.
How often do these special events come throughout the year? No more than a handful of times.
Can they hinder progress? Yes. They can. But you have to be in control and be strong.

20th of May, 2015
Weight - 171.8
Loss since last weigh in - 2.2lb
Total loss - 39lb
After my last weigh in recorded here, I decided to take a week off and enjoy food again with my partner. She has put up a lot and while I don't stop her from eating things she likes, I do feel bad sometimes when I can't enjoy food with her.
All in all, that week put me up to 180.2, as expected due to my glycogen levels being replenished for the first time in a while.
The week after that, I weighed in at 175.8, so the water weight was still gradually leaving.
Now I'm back into it!
Cannot WAIT to break into the 160s. I've never been under 174lb in my life.
