Strong, short workout. This was an evening workout as I was dealing with shenanigans at work all day. Fitbit says I already hit 26,000 steps and 3,100 calories, sigh, dipping protein bars in massive amount of pb as we speak.

Finished OITNB last night - holy sweet fukking ketchup in my eggs!!! That... was... amazing, srs. Wentworth and OITNB, what a time to be alive with a Roku! Yes I do actually watch other shows and movies on it, but about 75% of what I've given a shot turns out to be terrible and I can't even make it through the whole thing, srs. It takes something really good to get my attention. The heart wants what the heart wants, which is apparently prison shows and Australian accents.

Stir peanut butter into ice cream. Tastes better than regular peanut butter ice cream, and super easy to make up calories that way. Maybe too easy, actually.

Since I don't have a TV, but do have Netflix, thinking about getting a little TV for the bedroom with Roku. I have a feeling I'd never go to sleep though!

Sounds to me like if I ever need someone to take my ice cream and keep it safe without eating it, you'd be a good candidate

I'm a srs Roku-hoe lulz, got one downstairs with the main tv and one upstairs on the bedroom tv. I go to bed with Wentworth or OITNB every night, very cool because it alters my dreams sometimes and I can get into a lot of awesome fights. I find it soothing to sleep to.

You are correct, blows my mind how anybody likes ice cream srs. Since I am not a peasant I feast on babka instead, but sure I will keep your poverty ice cream safe.

Wut. Are you lactose intolerant? Because that is the only valid reason not to like ice cream, because dairy free ice cream is weird.
Both steak and bison? That makes up for the ice cream...I'd take that over ice cream any day.

Good benching, hit my usual 180 singles, gained a rep on all the 160s back off sets this week. Slept 11 hours last night, it was magical. Passed out on the couch eating the last of my chocolate babka re-watching OITNB season 4. Killing it on the fitbit today, hit 20k steps and 56 floors so far even getting up really late.

Eating all the fruits and veggies this weekend. Finally made it to another baseball game with my dad last night, lots of junk food ensued which was awesome lol. (No not ice cream cause I do not like ice cream, suck on it you weird ice cream lovers! ) Didn't even bother tracking cals for the last couple of days but back on schedule today.

I'm trying out the supps I won from the bp contest, got some N.O.Vate pwo by App Nut which instead of powder are tablets you have to dissolve in water. I honestly don't like it at all, it's a PITA to get these tablets to dissolve and it ends up not tasting like anything which is so weird for a pwo. I like a subtle fruit punch or anything really. Pretty sure it doesn't have beta-alanine as I really didn't feel anything during the workout. Meh, at least I'm strong anyway so I can still hit the numbers I need. This is first pwo in a very long time that I truly do not like at all. I know App Nut generally has pills for their supps so maybe that's why they went down this weird path of dissolving capsules. Would rather just take something in pill form instead of this.

I haven't used N.O.Vate, but looking at the profile, it's mainly stims, with some ElevATP for endurance. Looks like the recommended dose is three caps, and I'm not going to tell you that it's okay to go above the recommended serving size, but well, only you're familiar with your stim tolerance. No beta alanine, as you guessed, but a lot of companies don't include that because it has absolutely no acute effect...it's a saturation ingredient that is only useful after it builds up in your system with continued use, so it doesn't need to be dosed pre-workout (and I believe is actually best dosed with carbs). The tingling is paresthesia and doesn't indicate that it's working (if you stop getting tingling, as many people do with continued use, it's not like it's not doing still it's job), and while I don't think we know the exact cause, one of the hypotheses is that it's caused by a histamine release. But if you really like beta alanine, I'd suggest buying it in bulk and split dosing it as two doses of 1.6g with meals, daily.

Meh it's not glazing my ham at all. Most pwos have beta alanine in it that I've tried anyways, got a few more products on hand that I can switch to for a while. Not a fan of having to dissolve all these caps in water and then being paranoid one is not all the way liquefied and I'll accidentally swallow it.

YESSSS!!! OMG end of season 2 was the tits!! So much planning, so much action, so much violence! Season 3 has a new focus but will blow your mind, srs. I am suffering big time that I have to wait for 4 to come out in the US. The main season 2 fight is what got me so far on my squats this year and a new PR, srs, I re-watch that all the time on my phone before I lift. Fuking amazing scene.

I'll start season 3 when I'm off Tuesday. Or maybe tomorrow after work LOL.

I love watching boxing/MMA vids on youtube before I lift, gets me ready to rampage it, but damnit I swear watching some of these extremely violent prison fights gets me in that "nothing to lose, gonna kill it and make the weights beg for mercy as they cry on the floor bleeding out" mindsets, better than any pwo I've ever taken. Match that with REALLY good music and you got yourself an automatic PR. Those things tend to bring out the animal in us all. Enjoy 3!

OMG I KNOW!!! There are a very select few shows where it's like wtf is this liquid seeping out of my eyes, I don't even! Some of these shows really hit me in the feels, I care A LOT about the characters, as far as like wanting to give them a fuking hug. I don't even feel comfortable hugging family members unless someone's dying or drunk. But this, I'm like holy chit I'm gonna give you a hug girl cause awww damn man. :'( Yeah I did notice the no CPR thing as I know a lot of MMA guys get choked out kinda like that but it certainly isn't gonna kill you. You can usually wake somebody up or CPR or even I think those emergency paddle things on the wall (not sure if that's heart attack only thing) but anyways you can do SOMETHING. There were a couple things like that throughout the season (like nobody noticing garden-man disappearing) that I just chalk up to that prison being such a cluster-fuk and having nobody know wtf is going on at all who works there. But ohhhh man, she will sooooo be missed, I LOVED that character. :'(
    Happy 4th, Hammie.

Great lift day of death and destruction! Moved up on a couple things. Also hit a 10 rep pull up set which only happens once in a while, go Ham go!

ERRGGGGG!!! Re-watched episode 12 of OITNB last night and 13 today, no way you can watch those in the same day, so very sad. Ugh... well I guess I'll start the whole OITNB series over which is like 54 hours long, hopefully that'll take me a couple months. Then I can start re-watching the Wentworth series leading up to the release of season 4 of that. Jeez I haven't watched actual cable in like 4 months srs, good riddance commercials and boring family-friendly shows that always have to have a good message that makes me wanna puke! You keep goin' HAM with your bad self, Netflix!

OMG...that bobka looks awesome!! I guess I've seen those before, but never knew what it was called. Oh and I never got into Seinfeld (I know...I know). I only watched a few episodes here and there. But not this one about the bobka! Funny segment!

    2018 goals:
Lift more than I did in 2017, which won't be hard because I haven't lifted much since March 2017
Build back the muscle I lost while I went through a "I hate lifting" phase
    Love lifting again

The thought of 10 rep sets makes me exhausted lol. But in a like, I'm tired because I'm so impressed kind of way.

(Also, better you than me, so thanks for volunteering to take one for the team.)
