Pull ups and chin ups were a bit easier than a couple days ago. DL sucked because I still can't 100% breathe. Home gym floor is now sprinkled with a nice combo of spit, nose jizz, and determination. Rows were really good. Probably gonna bench press tomorrow.
Had a hankering for chicken wings again so went to the store for that and two other items... somehow bought $70 of foods instead. Was just going to make a huge pot of spaghetti and meatballs tomorrow for the week, but no, saw ribs and said oh well we can just throw that in the crockpot too and have two main meals for the week, and of course cookies were on sale, had to get those damn windmill cookies and the soft bake choc chip. And oh might as well get a donut since I'm walking the past the bakery. And soups, we are out of soups, peanuts for the squirrels oh of course, can't not feed the f'ing squirrels! And poptarts, haven't had those in a week, wouldn't want to starve to death because of no poptarts, and that rice I really like is back, let's get that. First world problems to the max. Purposely used one of those tiny shopping carts to avoid this but ended up building an obscene mountain of meat and cookies and other crap.

Great workout while still dealing with sickness! Hope you are back to 100% very soon!
OMG...I need to go grocery shopping with you You get all the good foods!!!
Before my dad sold the lake house, I would buy the big bag of peanuts from Sams Club to feed the squirrels! We had a huge deck and I would place piles of peanuts all over the deck. There were times that they would bang on the glass door to get my attention if I hadn't put them out yet. Come on squirrels...let me get my coffee first!! I was so bummed when we moved from there, mostly because of the squirrels. We are now on the top floor of a condo and squirrels don't visit us too often Plus neighbors below probably wouldn't appreciate all of the peanut shells falling onto their deckMy journal: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=159386641
2018 goals:
Lift more than I did in 2017, which won't be hard because I haven't lifted much since March 2017
Build back the muscle I lost while I went through a "I hate lifting" phase
Love lifting again

Thanks Sophie, slowly getting back to being able to breathe again.

"Nose jizz" lol.
Apparently one of my grandmother's brothers who died b4 I was born used to stop in a local park on his walk home from work and feed this particular squirrel who would sit on his shoulder. Never heard this story w/o thinking, "rats with bushy tails, man, rats with bushy tails." Not a big squirrel fan.

Man those ribs are GOOD!
Lol, never a dull moment.
Hai Crazy Pants! Oh yeah, I hate squirrels in general, as little furry circus entertainers to amuse my pets while I'm at work I'm all Team Squirrel, lulz. That seems risky, what about fleas and rabbies?? I mean to each his own, Max licks his naughty parts and then I let him lick my face so I don't have much room for argument here.
Thank you! I have two little tubs - mojitto and watermelon, pretty good. I *think* I won them in the bench press contest but I honestly can't remember where they came from.
Haha yeah my lil hero who is terrified of lightening and fire trucks. Will do, got one of those rebate certificates for costco I've been holding on to for a day I need some mega free groceries.

At least I am getting home earlier than I've been in recent weeks so I'm enjoying having a bit of time to lift and do other chit (like yesterday passed out for an hour cat nap) during the week. Pretty good workout, strength was fine, was coughing up a storm though. :/ Had to shove cough drops in my face between sets to shut up the stupid coughing. Agh, that's always the worst part of being sick for me, that damn cough lingers. At least I've been sleeping through the night, still taking Nyquil to knock myself out, but I am getting ok sleep.
OHP was solid, chin ups much harder than pull ups this time around, gonna keep hammering them with 110% effort and the hunger of 1,000 hungry spartan warriors, of course. Looks like squat day will be next, not sure what day I'll plug that one in but soon.jpg
Watched another people-surviving-nature movie - Snow Walker, excellent movie! (I think it's like 25yrs old so I don't think I'm giving anything away here.) LMAO at dude always losing his chit and hitting and kicking the plane, haha that's totally me trying to fix my stupid electronics when they fail on me. Badmove.jpg burrying the gun, I get it, but c'mon man, logic must prevail. Woulda been a hell of a lot easier getting those elk or whatever those were to go down, but no, dude burries gun to appease the chick and risks breaking an ankle and dying trying to wrestle an 800lb buffalo behemmeth with a swiss army knife. Idiot.Current PRs:

Thanks Vic, I dunno about shoulders going back, pretty sure that's not supposed to happen, but I am no professor on shoulders, I am a mere professor of chicken of the bbq variety.
LOL!!! Soooo much this, often times rip my shirt off and strut around the house after srs, pets are like wtf is wrong with you.
Ugh, amazing it gets that bad, brb don't smoke, eat healthier than most, exercise all the time, but get sick and am dying for a month and can't breathe. :/
Thanks dudette!
Oh yeah, it's a gamble doing squats and DL, don't wanna cough mid rep and snap my chit up.

Good workout, back to heavier squats, rows were good too. Threw in some extra pull ups since those were feeling awesome, chin ups still hard as hell, but both look better today than they did a few weeks ago. I need a fan for my garage when I do pull ups, it is as hot and steamy as the devil's angus in there in the summer.

Beastly workout!
I also need to look into grillage, since my boyfriend's parents moved out of their big house they no longer have a BBQ so we'll have to do that at our house. We have a big stone grill which my cats use as their castle at the moment - need to clean it up and find the metal bits that go with it.

Pretty average benching day, endurance was ok this time. Grilled out for the first time this season - ribeye, chicken breast, broccoli, and corn on the cob. Called my mom for mother's day and of course was on the phone for like an hour and half and pretty much only got in "uh huh, yeah, oh really," lol. My mom likes to talk about flowers, and my dad napping on the couch, and baking bread. Poor little Maximus has had an upset tummy this weekend I'm assuming due to the recent increase in his meds. Will call the vet tomorrow and see what we can do. He is currently running around like a ninja on ******* as usual, so aside from the iffy tummy he's apparently feeling ok.Current PRs:
