Pretty easy, srs, never feels like I'm running for over an hour.

    SUNDAY WEIGH IN!
Today's wt: 152.8 HELL YEAH, BOOM!!! (Last wk was 154.0) Apparently I bludgeoned the 153s in the head with a large cantaloupe, said gtf outta my way, and slid right into the 152s. I'm at my goal wt but since I'll have to weigh in with shoes and running clothes I'll shoot for 149 I think and just make sure dressed I'm still 152 or lower. Maintenance calories are gonna be weird. I've been doing 2500 last week to cut. I guess I'll add back in a few hundred a day and see what happens.

BOOM - quick but effective workout! DL went extremely smooth. Threw in some rows because I missed my dedicated Back Day last week. :'( I'll make it up to you my rear delts of rage!

I stumbled across a new compression/base layer shirt - Tesla shirts. Ohhh man comfy AF! We're in this weird patch of weather where it's too warm to wear pullovers but UA Coldgear isn't doing it for me under a tee. And I am addicted to buying awesome shirts apparently. I found these on Amazon and was very skeptical because they're only $15-$20. Figured I'd try it and send it back if it sucked. But no, so soooo comfortable! I got one in green camo (go with the men's, they have badass ones, the women's ones look like you're dressed to go picking flowers not chopping off zombie heads in the woods.) They say they run really small which is accurate, had to get a men's large, even at my cut wt it fits me perfectly.
/I'm not allowed to buy any more shirts this year, someone stop me! Lol in all seriousness it is almost concerning how much laundry I go through every week just from sports. ANIMAL shirts, and sports bras, and compression pants - oh my!

Interesting. Never heard of a Tesla shirt but you have my attention. I just think of the scientist, Nikola Tesla but I did a long paper about him back in high school, then revamped it for college when I missed one of the chemistry labs and the professor let us turn in a paper to make up for it. Ah the good ol' days. Not related to the shirt at all though, lol.

Yeah at first I thought it was the same company that makes the cars. I thought huh, that's a weird product for them to branch out to, lol. No relation, the shirt company is in the Philippines.

Thanks! They are?! Oh man, I have finally made it as a runner, I am keeping pace with real runners! I have seriously gotten wayyyy faster the last couple months. The thing about upping your mileage making you faster automatically is true.

Wahoo, that was by far my fastest run by far! My mile splits were in the 9 minute range. I wore my new Tesla shirt and holy ham man, I swear it made me faster! That thing is comfy AF. Felt good, felt like I was hitting a faster pace but it wasn't hard at all, srs. That's pretty cool I can just bust out a 5 mile run on a whim, on my way home from work too - did 28k steps today so far!

Also killing it on the diet. Oh there are veggies everywhere, various types of fruit being my snacks, oatmeal all over the place. BOOM - it's happening, the healthiness has arrived, lulz. (I would be so pissed off if something ridiculous happened like somebody accidentally dropped a piano on my head from a 4th floor apartment. I will come back and haunt the chit out of you. I will make all your showers cold and slightly damage all your iphone chargers to the point you don't notice they're damaged right away, but you go wtf is going on my phone is dead again, oh what a nightmare! So yeah, don't drop heavy musical instruments on me or I'm gonna be mad.)

*35 and sunny, had to run in the street because we had a snowstorm last night

    OTHER PREHAB:
    -Stretching 15min

BOOM - huge workout! Been busy with work so I wanted to fit in as much as possible while I had time today. Right after lifting I threw on some sweat pants and went running in my neighborhood. And yes we had another stupid snowstorm so I had to run in the street to have a somewhat clear path.

The 105x30 bp was pretty brutal but I gutted it out. I've tried a couple different counting methods, like go 1-5 and then repeat it over and over, this time I counted straight through, hit it straight through for the first 24 reps without pausing at lockout for a couple seconds. That's the trick, rampage straight through as many as you can right off the bat, holding lockout is tiring. That's going well, still a few months to practice and perfect it. I moved my safety bars a notch lower so I didn't clank them and had much cleaner reps with good chest contact. I want my reps to be as beautiful as possible.

Itunes-ed some new music this week. The Zombie remake is amazing, sweet honey glazes!! And From Ashes to New has a new album coming, already pre ordered that. I'm about 2 weeks out from my 10k race so I definitely wanted a new playlist ready to go.

Very strong workout, singles went smooth, back off sets were great too. Lots of strength despite being a few months in on the cut. Weigh in tomorrow! The 10k race is in 2 weeks. I'm going to go out to that section of the park tomorrow and run the course (they posted the map online) and find out where I'll have to go for parking so I'm not trying to figure that out last minute. It's only 30 min away and the weather is supposed to be pretty decent tomorrow. I hope it's not back to snowing during this race lol, I want to run in minimal clothing.

Great run! I went out to the race course to check it out, ran the exact course and then added on another 8/10ths of a mile to round it up to a 7 miler. There are a couple slight hills but nothing too crazy. This park is a 10/10 for bathrooms and parking as well. I like it, I'll probably go running there more often.

    1) mirin' the giant dino in your videos, my little dude would love one hahaha
    2) congrats on seeing 151!! that's amazing
    3) stop making the rest of us look so bad, god damn! just kidding. you're killing it and it's super motivating! which do you find that you enjoy more - running or lifting? have you ever done one without the other for an extended time and enjoyed life without it - ie running hahahah.

Ah yes, my giant dinosaur makes the whole home gym experience! Thanks, I'm looking jacked and running fast at that weight, hell yeah! LMAO, always happy to motivate people where I can! I enjoy both, there's really no one over the other because they're just so different (although they both make me more resilient for the inevitable zombie apocalypse!) Yeah I was only lifting for a long time. I ran in high school, college, after that in city races and on my own. Didn't run for about 7 yrs maybe, and got back into it 16 months ago. You gotta run. There's a reason Navy SEALS, firemen, and SWAT guys run. I read and watch a lot of stuff on Navy SEAL training specifically, highly motivating to improve overall physical fitness. Be strong, be fast, improve yourself and kill it with the rage of 1,000 burning suns!

Excellent pace and it didn't even feel difficult! Weather was nice and the sun was setting. Squeezed this in on my way home from work. I hit 29,000 steps already today.

...i feel an inkling of motivation to maybe try and run....maybe....maybe. that's amazing, pace, weather, mood etc - what were you listening to? haha. i listen to my comedy-murder podcast at the gym and it is NOT good to laugh while squatting, but probably nice to laugh while running.

Do it! I listen to music, mainly Hollywood Undead, From Ashes to New, Twenty One Pilots, and currently some new stuff from Breaking Benjamin, Bad Wolves, Pop Evil. Sometimes I laugh while running, it keeps the weirdos and geese away.
