Still on my boring deload, bahhh I want to LIFT!
/whine
Ok, so today I did...
-Foam Rolling with Spike 5min
-Bike: 30min, Course 2, Level 5, 8.3 miles (turtle speed for deload)
-Stretching 30min
-Foam Rolling with Spike on wall 5min
Das it mane.
Tomorrow as long as there's time I'll go to LTF to swim and get in the sauna. Later in the day my mom is visiting and will be staying the night, I'm sure snacks and dirty jokes will ensue, lulz. There's no motivation to make your house sparkly clean like parents coming over, haha, everything is looking pretty epic right now.

Have that same issue, parents coming to visit this Saturday, need to find motivation to clean. If I think no one's coming, my house occasionally gets to the point where it starts to resemble a bachelor pad. I have referred to apartments as "the bachelorette pad" in the past.

Lol, it's been a bit more motivating for me since I got my badass death and destruction Dyson vacuum this winter. That thing gives you instant gratification. And dem Mr Clean Magic Erasers, I don't know how they do it but I make sure I always have some around because they are truly magic at cleaning things up.
Haha, nope never stays that way with the amount myself and my two pets shed! Looking forward to it.
Enjoy it Vic, I squeezed in a couple naps during mine and that was pretty nice.

Haha yep, I'm still kinda stuck in "omg lemme go clean something" mode but there is nothing left to tackle! You too Carl.
Yeah it is finally wonderful outside, warm and sunny, gonna go out in a little bit and get to try out this new power washer (now that it's not SNOWING) and new garden hose to wash my house siding. Lulz exciting times. I hope work goes quick for you Sophie!
Hey Tina, thanks! Not sure how I'm gonna work in the slingshot yet, at this point I need to take a non-benching day and just work with the thing for a session to get used to it. From the lighter wts I tried with it it seems like I would need to add a huge amount of wt to do triples. However I'm gonna see if I can make it work for a wt I'm comfortable with.Current PRs:

Indeed, yes it's been a good one. Same to you.
----------------------------------------------------
Alright, so I'm thinking tomorrow I will start back up lifting and hit a Back/Biceps day at the commercial gym, rows and pull ups of peace. Yesterday I got my power washer going and man that thing is kinda underwhelming. I was hoping it had enough power to take a nipple off if you got in its way. But nah, you can spray yourself with it on the most powerful setting and you'll be fine. I cleaned the siding on the house (at least what I could reach with a 6' ladder, gonna need a mega ladder to get the stuff way up there.) Looks a lot better overall, and washed my driveway. Everything took 3+ hours, srs. Will still have to clean the deck before I stain it and then when I get some huge ass ladder I can get the taller parts of the house.
May do a little bit of cardio/stretching today, we'll see.Current PRs:

It's spring! Isn't it amazing?! I started yard cleanup like a month ago, but haven't been able to do anything the last few weeks because we had freakin snow on the ground again. But it's nice this weekend so I'm out there raking like a maniac and stomping on vole holes in the hopes that it will discourage them.
Bummer about your nipple blasting goals lol. I don't know why, but that reminded me of this elderly little German lady I used to work with volunteering at a local food cupboard. Somebody tossed her a frozen loaf of bread once and it hit her in the chest, so she hollers YOU ALMOST KNOCKED MY BOOB CLEAN OFF!!!!
Hehehe, sweet little old ladies.

Oooo vole holes! I have some mysterious creature that digs a tunnel in my garden, have put a heavy rock on it but the rock gets moved. Kinda creepy srs.

I didn't say I wanted to take MY NIPPLE off, but A NIPPLE yes. These people who keep throwing YellowPages books at my front door need to be sent a message damnit! Have already signed up my address for the "don't deliver phone books here" but it did nothing.

There we go, end of deload, picking stuff up and putting it down shall commence!
It was like 75 degrees out today! I got the summer furniture out and will have a first grill day of the summer prob Friday, bison burgers and broccoli hell yeah. I also put these badass solar dragonfly lights on my deck (srs badass/10 lol) so I'll see how those work out. They charge a battery via solar power magic in the day and then light up at night, should be pretty sweet when I'm out there at night. Also got chased by a monstrous bee-wasp thing. I think some are hanging out on the house gutters. Am very allergic so may have to shoot at em with power washer eventually, will report back with results. No just kidding, have some wasp poison in a can that shoots 30' and do it in full riot gear, pepper your stingers bees, Hammie is comin' for YOU!Current PRs:

I came in here for some motivation. I have been eating whatever and taking a few days off from the gym since i was sick a few days ago but its time to get back to it. I gained like 3 pounds but oh well. Speaking of nipples these are off limits. Haha
Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

Lift more than I did in 2017, which won't be hard because I haven't lifted much since March 2017
Build back the muscle I lost while I went through a "I hate lifting" phase
Love lifting again

Nice cardio session Hammie! Seventy five F is 23 degrees C which is probably our late autumn/early winter weather. Personally its a little chilly for me. LOL

I was supposed to go to the commercial gym to do a back/bi workout but due to a horrible day at work it was too late to go so ended up doing an evening workout at home. This was something to get back on the weights, no particular pattern or numbers were done. I'm going to follow the program IAGD posted in here, but today was just doing ANYTHING to improve this chitty day. Day consisted of people having last minute issues and not coming in which I found out about as I already on my way to work, brb turn around, go back home for gear I now need to be on road all day, drive all the way back. Issues all day, trying to juggle all these phone calls for work tasks I was supposed to be taking care of today but now really can't cause on road all day. BRB oh chit I have no water on me and it's hot as balls for once, waiting a long time until I can make it somewhere with water. And people having loose dogs tryna chomp me and people screaming at me even after I take your 100 and whatever lb thing up your stairs. Happy Monday to you too!Current PRs:
