Thanks Vic!
Haha thank you, every day I run out to the garden to water it and am anxiously awaiting seeing little plants poke up from the dirt. Seeds are magical.
Holy crap, I have no idea what you just said. The seed packet from home depot for mine literally says "catnip" haha, I hope it's not immitation nip!
Thanks Sophie!

Rest Day today, had a bunch of work meetings and stuff to do today. Want to go to LTF tomorrow and hit up the sauna of peace. Squats and OHP needs to be done too. Thinking about picking up a raspberry bush and planting that in the yard too, that's my favorite fruit of all time and it gets expensive trying to buy the berries at the store if they're not on sale.
Cut is going well, have been at my 2500 limit or slightly under all week. Will weigh in this weekend and see where I'm at. Started at 181 about a week and a half ago, after water wt of peace have been down to 174.0 early this week, aw yeah.

Guise, I went to this huge ass garden center, omg it was beautiful, they had like 10 kinds of different catnip/pet grass seeds, fruit plants for EVERYTHING! Did you know you can buy a peach tree out here?! I did not know that! They have blackberry bushes, and watermelon, and broccoli, oh man the possibilities! I picked up a nice raspberry plant which I will plant this weekend. I hear they get kinda wiley so I'm going to chop down some of the weedage in the backyard where the yard meets the woods, and clear a spot for this in case it grows pretty big. I didn't want to put it by the fence and potentially grab my 107 year old neighbor lady. I'm gonna have a friggin' fruit festival in my backyard, or a produce party, yep. I want to grill today but am waiting to see if the weather will be ok, it's like 40% that it'll storm.Current PRs:

Hamster, if you plan on staying in your house long term, plant a cherry tree. My mom and grandmother planted one when I was a kid and while it took several years before it bore any fruit, by the time I was a teenager, muthaagod, the cherries. OMG OMG OMG the most delicious thing ever, every end of June/beginning of July. Basically, my 4th of July memories mostly involve eating like 3lbs of cherries by myself then pooping my brains out the next day. Good times.
But seriously. Plant a cherry tree."Eat some oatmeal, do some squats, how hard is that seriously."--Prof Ham

LMFAO at your 4th of July memories. I lovvvve cherries! Actually have never even thought about how cherries were grown (tree, bush, etc), but man that would be amazing to have my own cherry tree. I buy cherries so sparingly because they are crazy expensive, got some today, 2lb for $9. Will check at the garden store, they sure did look like they had anything and everything.
Grilled out tonight - 1,000grams broccoli, chicken breast, and bison burgers HNNGGG! Chopped down a bunch of bushes and green crap at the edge of the backyard to clear out some space. I actually sawed down two small trees (well they were big enough that I had to run like a maniac when I timber-ed them so they didn't fall on me lolol) so the sun could get through to the spot I'm putting my raspberry plant. Gotta pick up some more miracle grow and dig the area out for it tomorrow. My parents used to have a good sized raspberry patch in their backyard, that was AWESOME, we used to get containers full of berries when they grew in.
Alright, so I wanna look into a cherry tree, how to do broccoli seeds, and a peach tree. BRB produce farm in my yard. Mind = blown you can buy a pack of seeds for a dollar and said seeds magically produce food, you would think the seeds would cost more considering how much food they can provide for you. Why didn't I do this sooner?!Current PRs:

The cherry tree and raspberry bush sounds amazing, those are my two favouritest fruits ever. I would totally cover my garden in raspberry bushes, but my boyfriend claims that the birds will eat them all if you don't protect them with wire mesh. Also, raspberry bush + cats = furry bush.
Nepeta is the scientific name of the catmint, of which catnip is a proud member. Nepeta Cataria is the fancy name of "true catnip". Cataria, you get it.
We have an itsy bitsy apple tree in front of our house. Very soon after me and Mr. Boyfriend got together, I was eating my favouritest apple, Pink Lady. Sometimes I like to nibble on the seeds, so I open the core and I see a sprouted seed. I show it to my boyfriend, we both agree it's weird and funny, we fill a teacup with dirt and put the seed there. A week later there's a green thing breaking through, but it looks strange, so we ask the advice of experts (his mom). It turns out we planted the seed upside down. Ok, no problem, we take it out and correct the orientation. The thing continues to grow. Fast forward a couple of years later, the resulting apple tree is almost to my chest. Not sure if it will ever give fruit, since this type of apple likes warm and sunny climates, which The Netherlands is decidedly not.

Hmmm, my parents never had that problem and we live in the same state so I'm thinking no animals will bother that bush. They had their rasp patch for 25 years, always produced tons of berries too. Those bushes get crazy and you have to trim them back and I think my dad got tired of doing that, pricker bushes of peace poking you in the ass while mowing the grass.

Just catching up on your journal. Whole lot of awesome going on here. Kick-ass lifting, all of the yardio, raspberry bushes... I feel like a lazy slob now
Dude, if I didn't suck at growing stuff (everything I touch dies, srs) my whole backyard would be full of blackberry bushes, cherry trees, tomatoes, zucchini, peppers of every variety, all kinds of herbs. My grandpa had a farm when I was a kid and had all of this stuff. So much delicious stuff to eat in the summer. I miss that place.

Thank you, I feel like my squats are really coming along - finally!
Lol'd, yeah now that I'm getting into it I'm like omg how did I not do this before?! For minimal work and supplies you can magically create food that will sprout up from the ground - what! I have a medium sized back yard and really never knew what to do with it. I have a deck to grill on but other than that never spent much time out there. I'm now chopping back a lot of the trees/bushes where the woods meets the yard to make room and get more sunlight. I'm going to get a nice group of foods growing out there in the next couple of summers.
Also, color me totally impressed that you did DL Doubles at 285 or something ridiculous like that and then did that super-set of death and destruction.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Gonna go lift in a few minutes. The only real thing I have left to do for the week is rows, so it'll be rows and pull ups/chin ups. Bench needs to be spread out from OHP so I have to wait a couple days to do that, and everything else has already been lifted.
It has been pouring rain and thunder storming all weekend! At least my plants are getting plenty of watering, I still need to plant my rasp bush in the ground and finish the little brick wall around the garden. I got all my topsoil, peat moss, and mulch ready to go, just need it to clear up for a day so I'm not trying to dig a big muddy mess.
And crazy cat lady accomplishment - after a couple weeks of coaxing Max and just quickly brushing his front teeth, then a bit further back, etc, today I managed to brush all his teeth with him just sitting there purring not putting up a fuss at all. I have a small bathroom I use for weird pet med stuff like that and all I have to do is go up there and call his name and he will listen and come right in to get his teeth done. He gets a treat and belly rubs after. I'm really hoping this will give his overall health a big advantage long term - it's gotta do SOMETHING positive compared to never getting your teeth brushed in like 10 years. Awesome squats yesterday and rowing today! Lmao at uncontrollable farting And your supersets of chins/pulls just amaze me! You make them look so easy! Do you rest between sets?
Raspberry bush sounds so cool! It will be so awesome to grow your own foods! Excited to see how it goes.
Max is such a good boy. No way in hell would either of my cats listen to me and come into a room where they know they will get poked and looked over and possibly get a pill or something. I have a garden too! I am growing pole beans, cucumbers, tomatoes, a bunch of different kinds of hot peppers, yellow and green bell peppers, zucchini and horseradish. Don't have any cool signs though. I tried growing broccoli last year but it all got eaten by rabbits. The hardest thing is keeping critters that will eat all your veggies out of the garden!
I am so jealous of your pullups and chin ups! I am still trying to do a chin up. I can do negatives if I raise myself up to the bar but next time I think I will do jump negatives where I jump up to the bar. Then after those hopefully I will get the chin up but I am soooo close!

Thanks Jen! Haha I struggle HARD through those, srs, it always looks more graceful than it feels. Yes I rest about 30sec between sets, mostly just playing around with my ipod.
Max is such a good boy. No way in hell would either of my cats listen to me and come into a room where they know they will get poked and looked over and possibly get a pill or something. Brush their teeth…lmao…nope. Not going to happen That is great that he is such a good kitty with all that healthcare stuff.
I had to really widen my grip on rows big time for them to do a whole lot for me. I lowered the wt by a lot when I started the wide grip and worked up from there, seems more beneficial with the hand placement I have now. I'm working my way up to such pull up and chin up glory that I can spontaneously bust them out in the middle of the grocery store. I will probably knock over a display of canned peas doing so, and get arrested, but my rear delts will look AMAZING!
With patience, treats, and a bit of wizardry it can be done. The pet toothpaste is in yummy flavors like seafood, let cat think it's a treat, start slow, do front fangs at first and make it quick, reward with treats and praise. Sneak in a couple more teeth each day
Thanks Vic! Accidentally ate 180g of protein the day before, heehee!
Ahhhh really, the animals will go after that?! Well I gues I'll have to run outside in my undies brandishing a butter knife at the bunnies. If it is a huge problem can't you just build a mesh cage around everything?

Gonna go to bed at like 9:30pm tonight, got about 2 hours of sleep last night. When I was FINALLY falling asleep at like 2am I start hearing an alarm beep, figured it was one of the fire alarms. It was clearly the low battery beep that is every few minutes. Start tearing smoke alarms off ceilings, can't find where the hell the bad one is. Finally figure out it is the carbon monoxide detector low battery warning. BRB replacing batteries and smoke alarms in the dead of night.Current PRs:

Oooh, I hate when that happens! I try to remember to change all batteries when we set clocks forward/back for daylight savings. It doesn't always happen though or I forget one. And it is so hard to figure out which one it is at first. Then all the pets are freaking out. I have a funny story. I woke up to a woman's voice one night saying something I couldn't understand. I wondered if we left the front door unlocked and someone was stranded and just happened to come on in and then I wondered if it was some crazy woman who would try to kill us. So my hubby gets up and gets his gun. Then hands me a gun that has a laser on it. We are both peering down over our balcony and looking in the foyer for this crazy woman. And then we hear the voice again. Sounds like a foreign accent, but we still can't understand what she is saying. And we heard it again. Then it hits me what it is. It is our jam box. This little blue tooth speaker system thingy and the battery is low. She was saying "please charge battery"!! I couldn't go back to sleep because I couldn't stop laughing

2018 goals:
Lift more than I did in 2017, which won't be hard because I haven't lifted much since March 2017
Build back the muscle I lost while I went through a "I hate lifting" phase
Love lifting again
