Came for kick ass lifting and obstacle course running of peace and got explanations as to why bb.com is not sensoring broc**** and awesome baton videos. I am not disappoint. I'm pretty sure I would just hit myself in the face with a baton. Dangerous lack of depth perception is dangerous

Bahhh, did not see one person get destroyed in their face with that baton, wtf!
No no, you're supposed to hit OTHER people in the face with the baton, repeatedly and with great vigor.
Fuuuuuk, would love to work 3 days a week and hell I'd even do 15 hour days. I do 15 hour days now a lot of times, srs. Thanks dudette, I try to be ham-stronk on my bp and everything else.

I saw some interesting injuries over the year. I had my wrist broken, someone else had their foot broken, lots of batons landing on heads. Not to mention injuries that happened when playing around. Someone was swinging the baton like a golf club and hit someone right in the stomach. Ah. Fun times!

Nice shoulder session, Hammie!!
And way to go running in the ice and snow! No way would you catch me out there. Our weather is supposed to heat up over the next 10 days. Records highs in the 70s I think. Crazy, but I'll take it!
Do the bikers give you dirty looks when you run on their path? Our bikers around here are such jerks and will run you over if you get in their way.

Awesome bench day, I used to do that final bp set at 135 for AMRAP, creeped up to 137.5, tried 140 today and blasted it on reps! Also very happy to regularly get up to 180 or so on singles, especially now being a much lower body weight than I was a few months ago.
Run was great, got to wear a t-shirt and compression pants HNNNGGGG! Temp is looking good for the next week or so.
Picked up food at Five Guys Burgers last night. Holy chit ballz man, that was a glorious meal. Haven't been there in like 5 yrs. Got two giant bacon cheeseburgers and large fries (and when say LARGE fries they mean it, never ending fries of peace), passed out watching Netflix lulz. My diet was shameful yesterday, had that and two subs from Subway with cookies and chips, oof! Probably ate 5k cals yesterday. Good lift day, looking jacked, stacked, and spiral sliced for summer. Got a couple EastBay tank tops and mannnn looking jacked in those at 158ish wt. EastBay seriously makes some nice sports gear. Their tanks and compression pants are sweet, good prices too, I think the tanks were like $7 each on sale when I picked those up. By the way the ACA can suck my honey glazed ass. I do not have insurance through work so I always had to buy it on my own. Oh you know, a so-so crappy ass plan isn't that much, no only $500/mth SRS have been paying extreme rates for YEARS. Anyways today I found out my GI doc I've had for at least 10 years in the biggest network in this state no longer accepts Anthem BCBS if it's one of the plans purchased through the ACA. What the fukking fuk?! So yeah, had to find a new doc last minute today so I can get someone to refill my RX or chit is gonna get real, literally. And then there's the added bonus of now I have some random doc I've never met that will be the doc shoving a camera up my ass. Oh yeah, you have not lived until you've read Hammie's colonoscopy escapades.

Strong day, skipped over the 115lb set on cgbp because I didn't feel like I needed it, blasted a plate for 9 paused reps easy, and happy to get up to 160. I'll probably skip the 115 from now on, it's kinda just in the way. Run was good, getting noticeably faster on the fitness course.
Posting from sammich shop with free wifi because my stupid AT&T modem died completely. No cable, no internet, no streaming Netflix. :'( Talked to them last night because I've been having issues since the weekend, they shipped out new equip which should be here tomorrow. Until them I am the midget armed Ham in the corner of the sammich shop typing up my spreadsheets for work and letting protein farts rip. Posting from iPhone of extreme data usage as I've been without internet or cable for 7 days! ATT needs to get their chit together. I've had techs come out here 3x already and nothing gets fixed. We know the problem is in the ATT service box outside at the end of the neighborhood, the techs keep telling me that. None of them are "authorized" to fix outside equipment so they call in tickets that never get picked up. I've spent HOURS on the phone complaining to ATT all week.
I've been taking my laptop to places with free wifi to catch up on some online accounts. Pretty sure I'm gonna go over my Verizon cell data too.
Anyways will post workouts when I'm back on or get somewhere with wifi again.
Posted some things to ATT's Twitter and FB to hopefully get someone else in customer service involved. I've called like 10x and that gets me nowhere. I need a way to get this escalated so they actually do something to resolve this. And they better give me some kind of billing credit, haven't been able to use the services for a quarter of this billing cycle so far!
I hate you ATT, may the wrath of 1,000 angry Spartan warriors with protein farts smack you in your stupid face.Last edited by thehobbes; 02-25-2017 at 08:18 PM. Reason: Rage

I've been skipping 100 on my squat and decline warm up lately. I go from 85 to 115 and it seems to be saving me energy for my working sets. Sometimes a big jump like that will freak me out but I've gotten used to it.

Yeah it's hard to find that balance making sure you're warmed up enough but not wasting energy.

Good bench day but my Slingshot sets got screwed up. After much confusion and inaccurate information an AT&T tech shows up at my house at 7pm (I was told they did NOT need access to inside the house and I didn't even need to be home.) I had people here 3x before this one and everybody said yep, it's not a problem IN your house, it's the box outside down the street. So anyways that whole fiasco took 30min between the 175lb set and the 185lb set. Dude had to go walk around my basement while I had everything set up lulz. And of course I answered the door wearing compression pants and a tank top. He's like ohhhh I see you are in the middle of something, sorry! He had to do whatever in the basement and he goes up the stairs, stampeding through my kitchen like a drunken buffalo, and totally tramples our pet water fountain, sigh. So anyways I got my workout in at least, didn't get done til pretty late because of the hold up.Current PRs:

No lifting today. Sitting on the couch watching DVDs, thank goodness I still have a working DVD player, but mannnn I wanna watch Netflix! :'(
So with the current AT&T situation everybody that comes over says yeah the problem is outside in the box, I'll write a ticket, and then somebody else comes here to look at the same equip INSIDE the house and it's been massive confusion. So somebody was supposed to be OUTSIDE this morning fixing whatever is wrong but they did not show up, I drove down to the box and checked too srs. I called AT&T like 5x today already. I'm getting different info, everything from "oh no, they're not coming out til Monday" to "oh yeah they're 20min away and will work on it right away." Sigh. And I'm being told they want to send somebody to check out the inside equip AGAIN. I'm like wtf WHY?! And screw you guys for making me wrangle up my girl cat who is hell bent on doing the opposite of what I need her to so I have to chase her around my house for 20min to coral her upstairs before these people come over. Max is fine, I just carry him to where I need and he's cool with it.
And then I was asking about my bill again because I've had no service for 8 days and I pay like $200/mth for this. A couple days ago they said they would take $45 off the bill and I'm like ok well that's something, fine, just get the services up and running ASAP though. I call again an ask about the bill again and now the amount they are knocking off the bill has gone DOWN, they say they can only give me as much as a $23 credit and it has been even MORE days this has been out. I don't even. I'm not getting all crazy and demanding 3 months free service or something, but I'm not paying for any days where I couldn't use any of my services. I ended up calling the escalation dept after getting more pissed off. They claim they are sending somebody right now to work outside and I confirmed with the guy like 10x that they need to call me when they're done with that so I know somebody was working and I can see if the services work. And that guy took more off the bill, I think we're up to $50 knocked off for the month. Fair enough, but jeez just get this stuff turned back on, I need it to work!
Until then it's posting from fast food places that have free wifi or turning on the hotspot on my cell and burning through my Verizon data.Current PRs:
