Blue raspberry P.P.K. is amazing! I'm loving the energy boost and the intense determination that comes over me. The first time I took it, my hands started tingling about ten minutes later, before I was even at the gym. I don't really get beta alanine tingles very often, and that's about the most I've ever felt at one time, so I knew it was about to get real. I've taken it three times this week, will take it again today with my lower body workout I've got coming up later. It'll be my first time trying to front squat 155lbs, which may not sound like a lot for some of you more advanced folks, but it's a big step for me! Also, benched 185lbs for 3x5 this week, which is pretty close to a personal best for me, and was surprised how light the weights felt. I'll have to do 3x6 next week, but assuming that works out, if I can do 190lbsx3x5 the week after, that'll be a personal best for sure.
Anyway, just keeping you guys in the loop. If it's cool with you, I'd like to take it for another week and post my review maybe sometime next Friday or Saturday.Better Every Day: A Log About Lifting, Supps, and Life

Is Your Protein Going to Waste?
In the world of fitness, protein has become quite synonymous with building muscle. Yet, you've probably heard of this common theory of a 30g limit for protein intake. If you want to find out the truth about how much protein the body can really absorb, you want to read this article...Chris Belanger | Vice President, Sales

Drink it with your rumsteck before you hit the gym..
Gonna go get the real deal. I know a well-respected trainer who preaches 30g or less. 75g Carbs or less, etc. But he works mostly with people just fighting to get off the couch.
That 'rumsteck' though. Whoever thought of combining rum and steak? pure genius. I'm going to get some now.“God will not have his work made manifest by cowards” - RWE

Have you noticed how every 10 years the protein recommendations steadily keep increasing? Dietitians are finally starting to catch on.
Health Canada is actually in the process of redoing the canadas food guide and some of the most major changes it's implementing are
- increased protein recommendations
- vitamin d supplement recommendationsTrevor Kouritzin RHN, B.ENG
