Same problem for me. I focus on tightening my shoulder blades. Then unrack the bar and there goes the tightness. It's just barely high enough to through my form out a bit.
Only one bench in my gym. There are two powerracks in the 'crossfit' room. Can only use bumper plates in there. So I have to make do.
I do love the BP though.

Ya decline over 225 I don't really do b/c of position unless I have a spotter and I hate asking for people to help. I have seen one guy decline bench press in the squat rack while using straps? Like why would you wanna make sure it gets stuck on you and you can't get out? I was very confused to say the least lol.

Lol, wut?
Some of the things that people do at the gym blow my mind. The craziest thing that I have witnessed and still do from time to time is the dude that comes in with a large case. Opens it up and pulls out some kind of boots. Puts on the boots and then proceeds to hang upside down on the pull up bar on the cable machine. As if that's not weird enough, he will start swinging wildly while upside down. The whole cable machine is rocking and people just stare in horror. One day... it will happen.

I have seen a few people do this, not sure what straps would do when benching.
i have actually seen people do that as well. There is one guy at my gym who uses a ton of weight on the lat pull down machine but only brings in down an inch at the most. It was honestly the weirdest thing.
who knows what our 5 essential products are?Workout Journal: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=167450201
