When do you guys decide to cut? Right now I feel like if I cut I'd get too skinny I am afraid I will always have this feeling of getting to skinny after a cut. But I am also afraid I will get too fat during a bulk. Right now I am on a bulk, around 3000 calories a day consists of around 200gr protein, 300-400gr carbs, 50gr fats. I started taking nutrition more seriously 3 weeks ago (started bulking), 3 weeks ago I was 75-76kg, now I am 78-79kg in the morning after going to the bathroom, obviously this 2-3kg increase is waterweight right? Atm I am at around 16-18% bodyfat.
How do I know whether I am too fat for a bulk or too skinny for a cut?

Yea Thanks I guess it really is up to me, anyways I think I'll cut and see where it brings me if I dont like it I can always bulk up again. I posted this in the other thread ( correct section):
I'll probably cut and see where it brings me, got around 10 weeks maybe more to cut if I go 500 calories into deficit I'll lose around 0.5kg a week correct? that would be 5kg, I am currently around 77kg so that would bring me to 70-72kg. My current body fat percentage is 16-18% will I be able to hit the 10 to 12% within this 10 weeks?
I have no idea what my caloric maintenance is, I think it is around 2500 (including calories burned by excersising) so I will try 2000 calories a day with around 150gr+ protein rest carbs and fat. How soon will I see weight changes (assuming I have alot of water weight from bulking). Should I keep using creatine while cutting?
: I go to the gym 3 times a week, each time I go to the gym I have to travel 30min with bicycle (slow tempo) total 1 hour a day cycling. I spend mostly around 1hour- 1 hour and 30mins at the gym.

Thanks for sharing the video, in a bulk I mostly eat rice though.
I don't see a fat **** in the mirror though, but on camera I feel fat lol. probably because sometimes I have puffy nipples (when cold I don't) and in bad lighting I could really look fat. I guess I'll try a cut for a couple of weeks, see where it brings me, if I don't like it I'll just bulk up again. My goal isn't really to get big anyways, probably around 80kg at 10% bodyfat.

start doing cardio and eating big and lifting big. You'll get some great results from that. 1g protein per bodyweight. Gallon of water. Lots of cardio, the best are swimming and jump rope tbh. Keep bulking if thats what you want to do. Just make up your mind and live with that decision. You're gonna go crazy deciding whether to bulk or cut.
your best bet is to do a recomp

Recomp is eating in a caloric surplus at training days and caloric deficit rest days right? Does this actually work, because I've heard that in the end your weekly caloric consumage matters, I could be wrong though.
As for the cardio, I am already traveling 1 hour on bicycle to get to the gym and back (total 1 hour). Not sure if this is enough though.Last edited by AlmarTheLegend; 04-17-2015 at 03:55 PM.
