I was Googling body types earlier, and somehow it lead me to this old thread: forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=126074683 (Sorry for making you guys copy-paste.)
I kept scrolling and it got progressively worse. I couldn't stop reading - it was like watching a car wreck. Given, I don't frequent BB that often and when I do, I stick to Workout Programs and Nutrition. So, I don't know if topics like this are completely normal and I'm the oddball or not.
Are threads like that one normal here? If so, I can understand why women might hang out in other sections.

Is this one of the reason women have their own "Female Bodybuilding" section?

Doesn't surprise me seeing it's in the general Misc section. I never go there, I'd rather not subject myself to that much stupidity and immaturity. That whole thread just looks like a bunch of little boys whining about things that don't really matter. If it really matters to someone how overweight other people are, they've got issues.
Also, I think many of the guys there just act like that to feel "accepted" or feel like they're "cool" or don't have many friends IRL to discuss something worthwhile with. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Bulking & Lifting :)

This is something you come across in the misc and best ignore it - and for god's sake don't wade in and argue with them, the will rip you to shreds and you won't come out the winner. Stick to the females section - the mods to a grand job of keeping the women-haters out
As others have said, my question would be what you 'Googled' to come up with a years old misc thread, to then sign up with the forums to mention it as a first post?

Well, I've come here off and on for a year or so now. I didn't realize I hadn't actually posted anything. It's not the only fitness-related forum I browse, either. So, I got things mixed together and assumed I'd posted a few comments here.
I googled "black women apple body shape" (I was wondering if body shape varied by race) and scrolled through the images. One of the posts in that thread had an image of the different body types, and I'm assuming that's why it popped up in the search results.
And I didn't just join because I saw that thread. I've had this account since 2013; this is just the first time I've posted something with it - which I didn't realize until someone pointed it out.
....What?
No, I'm a woman; 25-year-old black woman. The date I joined is right below my username and I said in my original posts that I've frequented the forums before. And I'm not doing this to troll anybody. I was genuinely wondering if posts like that were something normal around here.
How the hell did this go from me asking about f*cking thread to me secretly being a guy with a diabolical plan to troll everyone??Last edited by GesturePoke; 04-16-2015 at 09:47 AM.

Welp, if you've been around here as much as you say you have, then you'd know exactly why
It's not personal- people do it a lot so don't get your feelings hurt about it. The more you're around and contribute the more we'll appreciate you for you, and not think you're a troll. Not having a picture doesn't help your case much though. Just sayin'___________________________________________________________

I like how, on the first page, "poon" is equated to an economic good with trade value.
Personally, this is why I love the misc. We all think non-PC things at times. The anonymity of the web gives us the ability to say (or type) them. Take it as a grain of salt and move on. Read that shiit as funny and not with serious intent and you'll be just fine.Simp's Back: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=165133671&page=1

You shouldn't take the male misc too seriously. Some guys are REALLY bitter and frustrated but that doesn't mean they're all jerks and immature and evil and the worst part of the whole internet including 4chan.
^^^
I've got a neg rep by some guy to whom I've never interacted with calling me a sloot and I'm a VIRGIN AHAHA !!
Nah but seriously, don't mind them too much, the misc is just for the lols

Yeah, for a thread that was created in 2010...3 pages is pretty tame
This one is up to 79 pages and was only started in January 2015
