For anyone that wants to save money.. Cdkeys has it for $26.97. The keys can activate on Steam. And apparently it has the DLC as well. I bought Pillars of Eternity from Cdkeys and its a trusted site, no scams. Buy it if you want, or don't. I'll think about picking this up this weekend.

There's not many out for the new gen but HORI and Mad Catz both have one. Mad Catz has the TE2 and those sold out fast as fuk and probably won't have a restock until summer. HORI has the RAP 4 Kai which is the one I'm probably gonna pick up soon.

In the review I watched, it said the net coding was awful for online play and it's plagued with lags. If they fix this, I will consider getting it but online play is a deal breaker for me if it isn't good. Smash Brothers 4's online play has delays and lag. I don't know if I want to deal with that again.

brb none of the dlc characters are available to dl
brb my fuking goro is locked still. they sent me no code to unlock him and i cant find any way to contact anyone about why my chit is lacking.

Got it, playing it, enjoying it so far.

Its been a long time since I played a MK game. This is the first time since having a real TV/Sound Setup and its pretty fun, its one of the few games that people can come over to the house and enjoy playing 2 player even if you arent a hardcore gamer. I assume alot of "hardcore" players will be butthurt that they EZ-moded alot of the fatalities but in terms of being a "party game" its pretty awesome.


Up to Sonya on the Story Mode so far.

Just got it.
Haven't been able to jump into story mode as it's still downloading but played against the brother a few times.
Not bad Jeff. As Dave said, I brought it purely for the fact that it's an amazing game to have when people are over and you're bored as ****. Hook up the shisha, play some MK with the lads, grab a brew...Not exactly a terrible way to spend a night.

Hope the story mode has decent length to it though.

I have a fighting stick but I honestly prefer the PS3 controller over it. The Xbox 360 controller is the worst controller on the face of earth for Mortal Kombat, I actually bought it on my 360 at first but I just bought another copy for my PS3 because the D-Pad was unbearable.

I feel fighting games are almost never good online, it's always better to play local. Good thing I have plenty of people to play with and people always enjoy a game of MK or Smash when they come over.
