So let's get this straight.

Cops on patrol
Make eye contact with Gray
Gray runs for no reason
Cops arrest him
Cops do not properly secure him in vehicle
Gray flops around like a fish and somehow breaks his neck
Cops do not seek medical attention
Gray dies shortly after


Couple things. Since when does running give probable cause to chase and arrest? From what I gathered, they were not trying to make contact with Gray, when they happened to see each other Gray took off.

I can see why the cops "refused" medical attention since I'm sure everyone they arrest "needs" medical attention but the fact does remain that they did not restrain him properly and then did not seek aid.

This guy was a scumbag criminal, no doubt about that. However, he still has rights and cops do not and should not have the authority to treat anyone with misconduct. If we suddenly allow them to treat criminals poorly, what's stopping them from treating everyone in the same manner? They do not get to make that decision.

At the same time, is there actually enough evidence to charge these officers with something as serious as murder? I don't know if it's timing because of the riots but the fact remains that he did die as a result of improper police care. We saw those Albuquerque fgts that murdered the homeless man (helmet cam footage of them shooting him in the back) face murder charges after public outrage online with no riots. Did the public sway that decision? I doubt it as the evidence was clear and one could argue it is still clear in this case, being that they did not follow procedure.

Running from the police is not always a crime. Is it smart? Probably not. I also heard Gray had just had neck surgery or some chit and that's likely how it was broken in the ride. Would a healthy man have had his neck broken? Probably not but that doesn't excuse the officers.

Their PC for arresting him was a folding knife he had clipped in his pocket similar to what most ITT carry. Because the blade folded into the handle (standard folding knife) they arrested him for having an illegal switchblade.

RThoe, your supreme court has decided that running away on sight of a cop gives that cop reasonable suspicion/probable cause to chase you down and investigate. That's all that happened here. This guy had a criminal past but shouldn't have run or been chased down by cops. Just like a couple weeks ago a cop shouldn't have chased down and shot a guy in the back 8 times after stopping him for a fukking busted taillight. And the other cop shouldn't have tased a 76 year old man for an expired fukking tag. This sh!t has gotten ridiculous and I'm glad people are videotaping this sh!t and making it known how often this crap goes on.

As to what happened to Gray, and why all the serious charges...the cops roughed him up a bit for being "resistant" (to being arrested for what again? The knife was not illegal), and left him loose in the back of the paddy wagon. It should be obvious by now that these sick sadistic fuks get off on taking hard turns, stopping short, etc., when they have helpless guys handcuffed and leg shackled in the back. That's why it was the driver who was charged with murder, as he should have been.

Whether or not Gray had neck or back surgery recently is completely irrelevant. You take the victim as you find them (the "eggshell plaintiff"). You are responsible for your actions.

As for charging them with various types of manslaughter and murder, some prosecutors and judges don't charge the jury on lesser included offenses. If they want all or nothing they don't do lesser included. In the George Zimmerman case they only charged murder and didn't allow the jury to convict on manslaughter. If they did I am almost positive Zimmerman would have gotten voluntary manslaughter, which is just a notch below murder. I had a client charged for murder who ended up getting voluntary, based on imperfect self-defense. The main reason is that the cops didn't like being lied to but that's another story.

Picked up my Glock 19 today, the rear of the trigger guard rubs my middle finger knuckle raw. Going to ask my gunsmith to smooth out the edge, hopefully it'll relieve this issue. Anyone else had or have this problem?

All false. This paddy wagon was divided lengthwise down the middle, no individual stalls. The second prisoner was on the other side and never saw Gray. Gray was loaded into the van headfirst on his belly, hogtied with cuffs and leg shackles. Never seated or belted in as policy (and plain decency) required. Remember that he did not commit any crime here and should not have been arrested in the first place.

Also, the other prisoner never said any of those things. All fake planted bullsh!t.

Donta Allen, the second prisoner in the van, told CNN's Don Lemon that a report saying he had told investigators that Gray was trying to hurt himself during the trip was "untrue -- very, very, very untrue. I haven't talked to no investigators. ... The only person I talked to was homicide."

Allen told Lemon that a separate report of Gray being irate and screaming in the van was "absolutely untrue. ... Never heard him (Gray). The only thing that I heard was a little banging, like he, I thought he was banging, someone was over there banging their head or something." Remember that Allen wouldn't have known that Gray was completely loose on the other side and not belted in.

Dremel + sanding wheel makes for a nice and easy trigger guard undercut. Then just come back with fine sand paper to get the scratches out left by the sanding wheel, followed by heat gun application to bring the rich black color back to the area.

When you're done it looks like it came that way.

They gave the kunt more time than she deserves but overall, worked out for me. Much better than what I had previously.

I used to only have my son every other weekend and one night a week + $558/month in child support + half his daycare + half his medical.... Total on that was approaching $1K a month.

What I have now: 50/50 in a 2-2-3 schedule (m-t,w-t,f-s-s) which flip flops after the weekends. Also, I only pay $100 in child support and that INCLUDES daycare plus I still pay half his medical insurance.

She's mad as fuk. Lots of other details are in our new court agreement but some of it's personal that I don't care to share - let's just say she was heated as fuk upon walking out the court house.

Do you know what kind of helicopter it was? Robinson R22, Bell 206, 407, Eurocopter 350 or 500, Bell UH1? Post a pic of it and I can probably tell you what it was doing. I'm thinking probably a privately owned Robinson R22, if not government-related. Possibly surveying or utilities.
