Funny first post of the day looking back.
Hopefully the offensive momentum picks up. Main problem I see isn't everyone sucking, it's lineup based. When players are constantly shuffled throughout the lineup it's tough to get that consistency. Once it's back to Pedey-Beni-Betts-Hanley-Moreland-Bogey-JBJ-Pablo-Leon for a few games I'll be feeling better.

Last prospect check I made.
Bryan Mata on the come up.
Rafael Devers looking good.
The Bullpen doesn't need a new arm added via trade. They could use some reworking. Joe Kelly isn't an all star setup man. He's a 7th man. They need Carson Smith back for the 8th and hopefully he looks like the same pitcher he was. we've got Kimbrel for the 9th so that's fine. If we move Scott to our depth LHP for Ross as a primary LHP we'll be fine in that regard. Ross has always been better

Hopefully no one. If it becomes clear they go after a trade I hope it's all or nothing because Devers would be in that package regardless. Devers + Groome for Moose + KC's top reliever would likely be a deal. Add in to deal would potentially be a Raudes or Cosart. Raudes a guy that hits 93 with excellent command and should be a rotation guy in the bigs. Cosart projecting as a 7th/8th guy in relief.

Even Moancada, the #1 prospect in baseball, struggled last year in his cup of coffee despite having a strong line in the minors. Minors/majors are different bro. No one has any idea what Devers will do against big league pitching. That's the point. Frazier is a proven slugger. You know what to expect. Devers is a wild card, not an ace in the hole.

I'm not trying to act like the Red Sox made a massive blunder or anything, just pointing out the missed opportunity to buy a player for dirt cheap considering he is going to be a FA next year. Packaging with Robertson and Kahnle was the best case scenario for the White Sox because it was the only way they were going to get any kind of usable player in return. The Red Sox could have given up a fringe/low prospect and had Frazier. Would have been a cheap get for a proven slugger.
Maybe Devers will be the answer. But I still am pretty confident the Red Sox make a move for a 3B before the deadline*Korea Krew* *MMMC*

Hopefully get to watch more baseball this year. Are the Yanks up to their old tricks of buying everyone in the league?

I actually like JD a lot. Hit more HR/AB than anyone else last year. Think if he hits 30 he'll give the Sox a huge boost across the whole lineup. Also think having Devers for a whole season adds a lot to the team. Hanley and Bogaerts playing at 100% is gonna help a lot. For a team that played at what seems like **** all of last season, I only see a ton of upside for this year.
