I'll play with it tonight. Using hitch pins was a slight issue on my prior Rogue rack with 24" depth, but 30" should be ok.
Cool. However I would not be buying this thing. Will feel exactly the same as hooking band to the top of the rack and doing the same movements pulling down on them. Using a cable to reroute through 2 pulleys doesn't change the fact you're still pulling on bands and that's how it will feel. Not at all like a real cable setup. IMO.

Yeah, I hear ya. I just use bands now as I have zero room left in my gym. It's not ideal. I like the looks of this thing, but I think you're probably right that it's not worth it to spend that much to still be pulling on bands.

Yeah, I get it looks fancier than the spud inc pulley system but at least the pulley feels like a real lat pull down cause of the constant weight instead of bands. I’ll skip this attachment. My RM6 is already filled to capacity with attachments atm, too much hassle to have to mess with the safety straps.

Speaking of safety straps for SQ's the best i found is use Monster shackles with Spud inc safety straps.

The hardest part of the entire ordeal (other than waiting on Rogue's customer service) was moving the cable tower solo. Initial impressions are very positive with smooth cable action, lever arm mechanisms, and adjustable safety.

Are you able to store plates on the uprights closest to the Rhino or would they get in the way of loading plates onto the Rhino?

Some of the Reflex Catalogue is now on the Rogue website. Glad to see they are incorporating quickly, and it looks like they're preserving the brand: https://www.roguefitness.com/brands/reflex-fitness?p=1

Lot of Sorinex (Reflex made) BaseCamps and the XL Mini Racks in there, too. The Mini got taken out of the regular line up a few years back it seems, but I love open tops and that one looks really good.

Cool scene overall in that gym, which is apparently a real place in NYC and not a staged set.

No Yoke...which is (IMO) their best and most versatile item for a garage owner looking for a “does it all” solution...it’s the coolest Yoke on the market.

No issues loading plates in this manner, there's enough space. Right now I'm keeping my 25s and 45s at stomach level and above but you could have them lower.

You do have about 10-12 inches of space you want to leave clear to avoid hitting the hitch pins from the lever arm handles but that's not a giant issue. I'm trying some different arrangements with my 2.5-5-10 storage to avoid conflict with a barbell in a belt squat + rack pull setup.

Well guess I spoke too soon - now when I am on the Reflex website most of the inventory redirects to Rogue products - so, for example, if I click on a Reflex Rack it reroutes to Rogue's Power Racks on their website. Rogue also pulled a lot of Reflex stuff off of their website that they had initially put on (like Reflex's 3 post power rack). Looks like they will be cannibalizing a lot of the Reflex designs. The one thing that seems to be preserved is Reflex's selectorized equipment - so maybe they are keeping that.

A lot of the Reflex designs were very similar/identical to Sorinex - I assume the design similarity was a product of the partnership the two companies once had? Were these designs a Sorinex creation that Reflex Manufactured? Or a Reflex design+production that Sorinex marketed and sold? Did Sorinex allow reflex to continue to manufacture their designs until Rogue bought them?

The Base Camp style of rack was designed by Sorinex and produced by Reflex. There were things that Reflex designed for Sorinex and things Sorinex designed that Reflexed just produced. I know that most of the machines were Reflex designs.

Indeed. It’s his design. He mentioned it’s a little stiffer. I love the belt. So easy to use and very comfy. With two, you can make a shoulder harness

Oh cool, I didn’t read the description till now:
“Developed from an original design brought to us by Brian Henesey of OverAchieve Sports and Speed (inventor of the SquatMax MD), the Multi Belt is ideal for use with belt squat machines like our Monster Rhino unit but it's also equally effective for weighted dips, weighted pull-ups, weighted chin-ups, and more.”

Brian has a post about it too:

In buying Reflex, Bill/Rogue more or less “bought” Sorinex, at least Sorinex circa mid 2000s.

Based on how much of the Sorinex design and imagery Rogue “borrows”, this isn’t a surprise; Bill covets Sorinex’s imagery and history.

I noticed that the Reflex racks are now off Rogue’s site...curious as to what caused the pull back.

No more "crews" or brand tribalism, unless Mech wants to make me a 1in hole, 2in on center, Open Top Rack w/stainless posts.

Unfortunately, unless a not to be named artist comes out of retirements those were limited edition pieces of art that will likely be handed down for generations to come (I know my yet to be born grandkids already have their non existent names stenciled on mine)

Hope they offer a seat and leg pad combo. Even better if it uses the keyholes.

I don't know the dimensions needed for a Hammerstrength rack. If it's 3"x3" with a 1"drop-in pin, a pair of Rogue monster mono hooks may fit after you cut (shorten) the pin on it . If the size needed for the upright is different you'll have to check on custom built mono's. Mine are for 4"x3" uprights with a 1" drop-in pin.

Rogue can turn that selectorized slinger rack into something similar to the Prime Fitness Prodigy Rack. Having 2 Lat Pull Down/Tricep push down is not as nice as having lat pull down + low row or functional trainer. They can use trolleys so that people can still squat/bench off the front uprights.

Well.... typically when a small business gets ‘bought out’ it’s because the acquired wants an exit plan.... aka retire..... so I think it makes sense that rogue has reflex continue to use their facilities and people to make their specialized equipment.... but let rogue handle the mass racks. In the end it could let both parties do what they each specialize in.

Is that a mock up that you did? Or is this from rogue and something they are actually going ahead with? I think its way better than the band thing they have.
Only thing thats ot ideal about it would be shipping costs with the weight stacks, but i could live with it...

Wouldnt be able to have the belt squat in the extension of your rack, but i think this would get much more use.

The hardest part of the entire ordeal (other than waiting on Rogue's customer service) was moving the cable tower solo. Initial impressions are very positive with smooth cable action, lever arm mechanisms, and adjustable safety.

    2 Questions about this setup

    1. Can you still mount plates on the back posts?
    2. Can you incline bench inside the rack?

I thought about getting the belt squat drop in for the monster half rack, but I don't think I could do incline bench at all as there isn't another post but flat bench would be fine, and I assume you can still squat the inside posts closest to the belt squat platform without issues.

Or something like this with the combo
