vhd16 - what about getting offset j-cups made instead? I had Mech make some for me but I’m sure other fabricators can or already make some (BWTG, Beastmetals, etc.). You can install them for narrower bars (offset inward), or swap sides so it’s offset outward to cover wider bars (like the duffalo bar).

Thanks mrcheeze. That works better and chadsalt suggested the same. You got lucked out with all those Mech accessories. Very efficient use of space and awesome set up.
In the previous page, i said DH would be perfect but meant to say XL series but height is the issue plus it is cost prohibitive
I am leaning towards having the Top and side top cross members both to be cut at 42" instead that way at least have the option getting sorinex attachments in future as Mech's are not available and try to go with off set J - cups.
As per the bar , got them last night and the PB is 46" between the inner collars and outer to outer distance between the collars is 51" as the collars (both of them toghther) are 2.5" on each side. PB came with black ship wheels collars.
Oly one is 47" between the sleeves and 52" with the collars. This one came is spring clips. lol..
Both the bars are exactly 84" long.
Cleveland,
Are you recommending me to buy Titan stuff ? Just making sure . If i go with 42" top cross members for the rack ( side and horizontal ones) then Sorenix is an option as well .
I think last time Sorenix ran a BF sale but don't remember what was included in that.
Thanks guys (Mech, Cleveland,Chadsalt and Smokhawk) for suggestions. Now it is time for me decide in next few days. Not having a rack is killing motivation as well.[M]===[6]▪ Mech6 Crew #35 ▪[M]===[6]

I am saying for cross members and a scenario where you aren't 100% on everything - maybe try the ready made 42" cross members from Titan.
If the dimensions work and you like them, you're set.
If the dimensions work and you don't like them - you know what you need.
AND - if they dimensions don't work...you're not out as much as a custom set would cost (I imagine) and you probably have a better idea of what type of custom width to order.
Instead of looking at Rogue's racks - did you go through their rig section? They have a lot of offerings in there and it might work better.Boomer Rep Crew #1

I would suggest buying whatever rack you want at a standard width then taking the top crossmembers to a local metal fabricator to make a copy of what you want in a narrower width. It would be relatively cheap probably within a few dollars of what it would cost you extra to have a rack cut down. There wouldn't be a ton of labor into cutting down squar stock, welding on flat brackets, and drilling a few holes.
Then you have everything the full sized rack for potential resale or if you decide that you want to use other bars and the cut down rack so you can use what you want.Best Lifts

No Rack( GPR378)now, Sold it. Had Mech mono and storage pins .
I see what are you saying about Titan. Not a bad idea. Yes less pain on pocket . Posted pics in YBBC thread for the bar.
ls1 not a bad idea. Will check out the local welders. Know a couple.
IGP, don't have time nor tools and learning curve will be huge.
I might go with this idea too i..e either Titan and expand the holes or local welder and get quotes.
Thanks all.[M]===[6]▪ Mech6 Crew #35 ▪[M]===[6]

I know Legend cuts to height free of charge. Although the sides are fully welded, new crossbars can be fabricated so you have the crossbars that come with it and the farbircated ones. They may even be willing to sell a second, shorter set to you (although I doubt it).
They have 1" holes so your accessories will work with it.{5'7" and under #1}

vhd16, I guess I missed that you had sold your old rack and are getting another. If the height (90") is n't a problem, i would get the Legend rack so that your M6 mono hooks will fit. I feel like my mono hooks are great and if I ever sold my multi rack, I'd want a rack I could use them in.Then have a local welder make the narrow cross pieces you need , keeping the stock pieces for selling the rack later or just keeping the option to go back to stock width. If I'm buying new, I would have exactly what I want.
Now OK for Sig line to be a novel

Legend was considered too but welded sides would be pain to move them into the basement and I am not sure rack will stay in the same room.
I started late that is building a real home gym..So nothing was planned.Had bunch of stuff since 2010.
Anyway,
Found this on Sorenix site ( I believe Mech posted this) in Titan thread.
https://sorinex.com/product/xl-serie...le-square-bar/
Sounds like a good option but I think best option is off set j hooks that way I can just keep default configuration of the Rogue Rack.[M]===[6]▪ Mech6 Crew #35 ▪[M]===[6]

You are taking it literally.
Honestly, with those photos, any fabricator who can't copy those j-hooks should just give up. They're pretty basic., I'm sure you can have them made.[M]===[6]▪ Mech6 Crew #35 ▪[M]===[6]

Thanks for the Responses, I just recently got the quote from rogue and for the 3/8" Gray hound for 800 sqft it's $1751. My biggest challenge is moving the stall mats all my equipment is on, lol. I ordered some 1'x1' from CFF as samples to see how it will go together and smell/feel. I'm assuming I can drop bumpers with no worries correct? My only next worry is dropping my calibrated Ivankos 6-8" from the ground which is what I tend to do.

It's not immediately clear because it doesn't say "closeout" in the title, but that Eleiko stuff is competition-used. In the descriptions: Closeout Item - These products were used in competition, but are in good to excellent condition. All Closeout items must be shipped, pick-up not available. All sales are final.
