That's what I did except I made the sleeves instead of using an oly bar.

I used an oly bar with plastic bushings from Goodwill for $20 and a smooth 1" EZ curl bar from PIAS for $10.

Probably losing too many sales to Titan (and NL in Canada) on those lower cost racks.

The rigs are being discontinued from what I have heard, I wouldn't be surprised that the stands are just out of stock from COVID buying. Lots of people impulse buying home gyms right now and trying to do it on the cheap.

I think Elitefts has some nice quality pieces, but I mainly go with them on smaller pieces and when there are sales with them.
Its not that elite has that bad freight its that rogue has unheard of freight shipping in this industry. Not speculating or guessing but saying that from half a dozen freight orders in last year to my house, from several different companies. I recently got a signature lat pulldown from williams (makes elite stuff and exact same freight as elite) and it was I think 400 for a 3000 dollar item. Freight really sucks when its some small purchase that is too big or heavy for parcel and the freight is close the cost of the item. Only worth when the item is a big ticket item.

Looks like Rogue diverted their resources to manufacture medical supplies. Very commendable and not sure other equipment manufacturers are doing the same or something similar.

I think the fact we aren't hearing about other companies kind of tells you they aren't . Hard to imagine Sorinex making medical equipment. Would take them so long its would be long over.

Does these add without bolting ,any more stability than lower cross member?

Don't understand why these are $105 where as their half rack stabilizers are $80 as per Brandon Campbell. He has both of these on his RM-3. Half rack ones in the front and mini feet on the back.

My NL rack is probably 1/2 the price of the rogue and 95% the quality.
Rogue does make almost everything else nicer than NL though.

I’d rather support rogue given that they’ve really stepped up to the plate. Agreed though 1/2 the price and I’d say 100% the quality.

And I’d rather support North American products/companies when possible

What in the heck are these monstrosities @ over $3lb? The hex design is understandable, I did like my Iron Grip plates. But the grip towards the center just to make them easier to pick up off the ground? Scratching my head on this one...

With some of the good flipping scores going on and selling off my old extra cheap TSA plates recently, once everything goes back to normal again I think I might get a set of the Rogue Six Shooter plates (they seem like one of the more decent priced premium options going new, unless I find some better score in between, or the tax on them destroys the deal).

I have a set of the six shooters and really like them. They are cast so you will see some imperfections but the tolerances are tight and having the holes in the plates is so nice. I wouldn't want to have any other style now.

Good to hear man and thanks for the low down on them, whenever the time comes I'll have more than enough from flipping and some extra pocketed profit.

Have them too and really like them. No issues so far.

You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.

I like mine. Tolerances are good, holes make them easy to work with. I like the look but that's obviously subjective.

Does these add without bolting ,any more stability than lower cross member?

Don't understand why these are $105 where as their half rack stabilizers are $80 as per Brandon Campbell. He has both of these on his RM-3. Half rack ones in the front and mini feet on the back.
I thought BC said that those rear feet stabilizers had something to do with another design that he was working with Rogue on as well. I'm with you, doesn't make sense that the front foot stabilizers are cheaper yet bigger and probably tougher to make.

Ugly yes, functionality not optimal..... but find some urethane plates under $3/lb..... not sure they exist except for the used market.

I have just made my first Rogue purchased and I’m looking forward to trying them. I Ordered up an Ohio Power Bar with cerakote finish, some of the IWF competition plates, change plates and last but not least a freestanding Rhino belt squat.
