    [i]John Varvatos Parisian Chelsea boots[/]

Got 'em dirt cheap in a sale.

    Try the following:
plain white v-neck - keep the V as subtle as possible
    grey jeans (e.g. Levi's 511 Modern Grey)
black leather belt - no fancy buckles, just keep it smart & simple
    black Chelsea boots
And why not throw on either a black leather jacket, or a black quilted jacket (think: Barbour) to finish
^ Will try this outfit if the weather cools down at all, but ill swap out the gray jeans for gray chinos, and skip on the jacket, it's way to hot for that right now. 65-70 F (18-21 C) and 100% humidity would kill me if I wore a jacket right now.

@CandyMane I like the outfit, it looks like something I would wear. (assuming the polka dots are white and not some weird color)

    Chinos will work, too.

    For reference, here's my belt:

Ibex of England leather belt in black

Made in England - a quality piece.
    Fairly priced, as well.

If I were you, I'd invest in a quality US made belt - and when it comes to leather goods, 'Merica knows how it's done.

Got my Rancourts today. Normally I'm an 11.5 D in shoes. After asking many times in this thread I went to 11D for the loafers. Got them today and tried them on. They were too big so I guess I need to size down to 10.5D.

Fuark I was so excited to wear them.

Tried to creep shot this guy at work that was wearing white (not wheat) denim, a tan blazer, and suede loafers. Was 'mirin hard.

Never had one and this one seems to fit like crap?
The width is 34 so at the bottom it doesn't look so great. Besides that it's too long, so I would have to adjust that at the tailor.

Also have a W33 which looks slightly better but is tight around the quads and ass.

    This is W34. Disregard t-shirt.

Get slim fit, and no pleats. Please no pleats.

Go find some that fit in a store before you start ordering online!

Check out the ones at H&M for a start. They look nice, are quality, and are cheap. Work up in brand from there once you get some that fit.

This is slim straight. Was not aware of pleats (in chinos), I thought it was just wrinkled form folding lol. Slim fits never fit well or at all though.
Reason I buy online is that they don't have all sizes in store here alot of the time, and sending/returning is all free so it doesn't really matter.

H&M Slim fit chino's are a very good start. As well as ZARA basics from what I hear.

Have 3 pairs of the H&M's in 34R Slim. Uniqlo should be worth a punt as well.

No offence, but the ones you bought look like my grandads oversize suit trousers, they don't fit anywhere. Crotch is way too low, leg is too big the whole way down, the length is too long, and they are in dire need of a taper - I don't think any amount of tailoring is going to make them look respectable.

I'm 6'2" 200lbs ish and this is what a 34 Slim looks like on me (best pic I could find):

Unless you have big quads you should be fine with these, I have blown the crotch/arse seam out on one of my pairs, but **** it, they're only £20. Once you've got fit down, move up a price bracket and get yourself some quality.

Yep, they fit like ****, the 33 I had of the same are slightly better. That's the problem with many pants, tight around the quads and too much fabric below the knees and waist. And slim fits have the issue of not fitting around the quads unless I take bigger sizes and have way too big of a waist size. My quads aren't that gigantic (25.6 inch) but maybe it's the combination with my height, and a big ass (srs, nohomer).

What you are seeing in the crotch area is not the crotch being low but my my legs touching eachother. Was also not aware of the pleats which is lulzy.

Anyways, they will be send back and I will look into H&M, also saw some Jack & Jones and Dockers chinos which might be something to try on.

You're right. Shoes trees can be had for $20 all day. You can also look for them at discount stores like tj, marshalls, nordstroms rack. But they never have size 12-14 which is usually XL.

The pictures posted were of shoe stretchers. Which can be good too, but not for $200.

Cedar, and very nice. Plus you'll get free shipping and returns depending on location.

They arrived yesterday brand new with original tags attached. Size 33/34.

They are slightly big overall, but the waist and length seems ok. I did a hot soak yesterday and they should be snug now.

Definitely a great pair of jeans for someone with a big seat and thighs.
