What a stupid ****ing deus ex machina, although I will give them credit it was a good match all things considered. Could have been far, far worse. Also, it proves Vinny was not willing to fully sell out Reigns even though the fans absolutely hated him. Simultaneously, Bork could not be pinned - not even by a fresh Rollins.

To an extent it preserves everything they wanted preserved, the best outcome to serve Vinny's ego investment in Reigns, the fan's love of Brock, and getting the title away without pinning him.

Still, seriously who the **** knew you could cash-in mid match? Literally, has that ever happened before? Because doing the whole thing on a rule no one knew is kind of dumb - even if the outcome was desirable.

the contract does say anytime anywhere so i guess mid-match is fair game.

Back then, people would be chitting all over a stunt like that. Now people like it?

Can anyone explain why? People chit all over Hogan winning the title at WM9 in a similar fashion. I was a little kid and a huge Hogan mark, but even I thought it was dumb. This was worse.

Because seth rollins spent his entire career doing all the dirty work while reigns comes in at the end with his spear and takes the pin/glory. now the roles switched.

Someone pull the SSer thread up or the TLC thread (somewhere) and I predicted a 3 way at WM and that would be the ONLY way Brock would lose. BROCK was not going to be pinned to lose the belt. I've have said it in the last several PPV threads on here.

This. The very first year Edge cashed in MITB, most people weren't thinking he would be able to cash it in right after Cena had a match and was already beaten down. Now, it's become expected to cash it in that way.

Maybe because Rollins earned a MITB contact stating he could cash in at anytime, and Hogan just made his own rules?

I can picture RAW tomorrow. Rollins comes out with The Authority and talks about how smart he was to cash in. Out comes Lesnar very pissed and charges the ring, F5s every single member of The Authority including Rollins. RAW ends with bodies all over the ring and Lesnar is standing tall next to Heyman with his music playing and the screen fades to black.

Sting was the last "soldier" of WcW. Everytime they talked about him, they always mention that. Like I said, it was the final battle between WWE and WcW. Sting was that one soldier on the island that didn't know the war was over. So him losing was finally putting to rest the "war". It was time for him to move on.
