Yea. Some jiffy lube *******s didnt properly tune it. I usually always stand there and watch to make sure it gets done but I had to meet at my school near by so I couldnt check on them. They never changed my air filter and it got clogged with chit. So now I made a whole tune up myself and the car start just like a brand new.

TAs went on strike, the faculty can't make a move without them marking/tutoring their 300+ kids in each lecture, students are rallying to support TAs (one of their initiatives are tuition fees reduction or altogether removal), and everyone is all pissed off because this only weeks away from the end of term.

Graduation delayed, vacations delayed, due dates pushed back with no input or lessons to help with them - it's just a nightmare.

5 others came to lecture today, including me. Big waste of time. Fuark.

I'm so glad I didn't go to York. I swear it's almost an annual occurrence where there is a strike.

Been living in calgary for two weeks.
I like it. But people in registry office are so unhelpful. maybe it's a cultural thing. But Canadian Asian people seem to not give a chit about helping. Which is weird because in Ireland they are nice people . Every other person here though have been super nice.

Yeah, I mean there are international students LOLing @ all of us because in their countries they don't even pay for education. I can only imagine - I'd literally have 40K sitting in my bank as opposed to the ~10. I've never been in debt because of tuition so don't get me wrong because I've always worked and saved, but all that cheddar I'd have just piled up. They're actually calling for massive refunds to currently enrolled students. That would be HAWT lol.

To be fair, it isn't exclusive to York. It's the CUPE Union Units 1, 2, and 3, which involves faculty/contract workers from MANY institutions - including U of T. York is just getting the most press because the rowdy ass Jane and Keele kids are seriously unafraid of scrapping/confronting. Today some woman ran over a steel barricade, I saw it while waiting for my Professor to meet up with me. Knocked the gate right over and security chased after her, lmao.
