Unfortunately the presentation of that was terrible. You have PPV quality guys like Thurman, Guerrero, Broner, and it looked like some low end fight with how the atmosphere was. Still NBC, got some good fights coming up.

To serious boxing fans. How important is an undefeated record? When we talk about all-time greats, none of them have an undefeated record (No one would put Rocky Marciano over SRR, Joe Louis, or Muhammad Ali). If you fight enough good opponents, you're bound to lose right?

Its very important, but its even more important to have fought the best while obtaining that record. And yeah, everyone can be beat. Sooner or later, somebody comes along and they got your ticket. Too old, just wasn't your day, whatever the reason is. In the end, everybody gets beaten. The most you can hope for is that you stay on top a while. Be the best.

I disagree with it being very important. The only great boxer to ever retire undefeated was who? Rocky? It really doesn't mean much, much more important to fight quality fighters.

What styles do yall prefer to see? i think casual fans all love to see the brawler/slugger style dominated by hooks and uppercuts on the inside but i hate it to be honest, prefer accurate counter punchers like Toney and Floyd and even orthodox punchers like Canelo.

Is there anything I should be asking the owner/be aware of/etc before committing? Don't want to join the boxing equivalent of a McDojo lol

I loved Toney but I can't stand PBF's style nowadays. It was a lot more exciting when he was younger but so boring today.

I don't think it has much to do with casuals or not. Casuals may not be able to appreciate the defensive aspect of boxing but entertainment wise, it's always gonna be the pushing the pace, extreme offensive styles that are most entertaining even among true fans.

I get you but the skill and bravery required to pull off counter punching at that level will always be more entertaining to me, its a preference thing tho, i see countless beginners just planting there feet and swinging for the fences all the time not looking that much different from a pro in-fighter
