Damn dude 24 lbs in 28 days is insane. That's something you'd expect a fat person like me to do, not someone who was already lean. I saw those macros up there, what did the total calories usually look like daily?

^^^ agreed. Crazy progress. And those avi abs. I'll be here forever mirin'

I meant to ask you this before, (I remember you posted the meal prep pics) but how do you measure/count the protein in chicken breasts? Weigh before or after?

I weighed 4 6oz breast before and then after baking they were all different (like 3.4, 3.6, etc).

    Thank you

Hey everyone. I hope all is well. I decided to res this thing up because, why not.

Last year i kinda just got burnt out and decided to take the rest of the year off from caring lol. That said I'm at 241 today and finally got back to living accordingly lol. I figured i'd log and have fun with you guys along the way.

I wouldn't mind being 200 again, it's a good look on me and i already know it's achievable. I don't have a specific time frame, but hey we'll see where the scale takes me!

    Thanks everyone who stops in!

the biggest thing will be nutrition. i'll be reducing fats significantly for now, since i know that will jump start weigh tloss for me. But i'm going to do some more reading and research on micronutrients and creating a pretty balanced diet that i can consistently eat without reaching burnout. I'm lifting 5 times a week with cardio twice a day for a while, then tapering off.

I don't know you're asking here, but i said that a reduced fat diet jump starts weight loss for me. If you're asking how would lower fat jump start weight loss, then the most basic answer would be since it has more calories per gram than a gram of protein and carbs combined, it would lower your calorie intake significantly if you replaced a gram of fat with a gram of protein or carbs. for example if your diet was 125g protein, 125g carb and 125g fat, you'd be at 2125 calories. If you moved things around and did 150g protein, 150g carbs, and 75g fat, you'd be at 1875, which is 250 cals less a day,or 1/2 pound a week. If you took even further and did 150g p, 175g c. and 50g f, you'd be at 1750 cals, which is -375 cals a day, or 3/4 pound a week.
