At the end of the day it's up to you how you write it, all I suggest is that you don't be too brief, write about your experience, why you wanted to quit, any shortcomings you had and if anything has changed for you. For example you could say why you went from barely getting a week, to suddenly breaking 100 days. Here is an example that might give you some ideas:

I started No Fap back in March and my first cycle was 3 days. At time a day without fapping was a big deal for me so I felt, at time alpha as fuark for going three days haha. The next day I got back on the no fapping regimen and lasted ten days. It would take a couple more cycles to finally got past the ten day plateau but I finally had a 30 day cycle in March/April. In those 30 days I gained so much confidence that I did my first ever cold approach. (I was a senior in HS at the time and had been crushing on this girl for a few months. I thought 30 days was a big deal so I began to walk around campus like I was the king of the school, I was a senior, I hadn't fapped in 30 days and I had my first cold approach under my belt. Long story short and rejection by that girl led me to felling sorry for myself and eventually relapsed on Day 33.

It was around the middle of May when that relapse occurred and I had a two weeks of high school left before graduation. I tried my luck with another girl. Things started off great with this girl and I thought she was going to be girlfriend. Long story short I didn't work out with her as well. Those two rejections led me to feeling sorry for myself and fapping again. During the summer My no fap cycles would have a duration of 2 weeks, then a fapping binge. Finally around the middle of August I said I need to stop this fapping bullsh*t, Im starting college in a couple weeks and I have to be a sick kunt. So I started and 30 days later another relapse.

That relapse occurred September 3rd. After another unsuccessful no fap attempt I decided to change my routine. Instead of counting days everyday (Haha the long time no fap crew that has been here since V1 knows that I used to post in that thread everyday counting days) I decided to just take one day at a time and that was that the method that finally worked for. I didn't start counting days till around day 70.

In this current no fap cycle I've been cold approaching girls at uni, and never once thought of fapping because it didn't work out with a girl. My days fapping are history. My acne has improved, confidence has increased, and my personality has been brought out.


I couldn't care less if most people pass by my post with the excuse of tl;dr. All I hope for is that this post helps one person get past their platue and reach 90 days. For that one person this is worth it.

I might give this a go again but to tell you the truth I have very low expectations. I expect to go 5 days and then fail.

I remember reading the OP, it only listed a few and disregarded the rest as possibly placebo which I can understand. However its not. We cant ignore people saying the same thing over and over again. Id like to see a complete list of common benefits other that overcoming addiction and ED. I have neither.

decided to make a comeback to this, I'm almost one week and this time is for real.
I don't got time now, a lot of **** is happening in my life since my fwb is involved in a big problem with nudes all over the internet, and since she's a model in my city everyone is talking all over the country (4 real). even the "famous" people (you know, singers were she appears on their videoclips, actors and ****). To be honest there's no point doing one at this stage. I made it to 100 days because I had no sex drive due to malnourishment and depression, and I received none of the benefits either for those same reasons. I'll have to see what it's like at 150 or 200 days.

Your right Tobias, I use to frequent this thread and I do know the benefits. I just wanted to hear it again.

- feeling more alpha
- increased confidence
- increased eye contact (my eye contacts already good)
- decreased or eliminated social anxiety (I dont have it)
- increased sociability
- more energy
- increased testosterone/better lifts

But come to think of it, is nofap going to make me alpha? **** no. Im just one of the boys, im not the alpha, and I dont expect it to make me one. But I believe theres some truth to it. What I think people are trying to say is they feel more confident and they feel strong in personality , more powerful, equal or above other people, and I can explain why I think they are making these claims. I think fapping and porn give people negative feelings of guilt, regret and shame. So in the absence of shame and guilt there confidence and self esteem. It makes sense.

Same thing for increased confidence. In the absence of guilt and shame there is confidence and self esteem. However I believe this will only be short lived and will taper off. I think it can only take you so far and only lasts in the beginning stages. I really dont know, I think its something I need to experience.

Increased eye contact and sociability for the same reasons listed above.

More energy and testosterone. Fapping takes the spring out of your step. It takes the spark out of you, it relaxes you, and it will deplete your testosterone. Why is it you think boxers dont have sex before the fight? Or sports people.

At first Tobias I was going to say to you "theres no need for that tone", and by tone I mean "either do it or dont do it". There was nothing about my previous posts that said "uncertainty".But in a sense your right. I need to make a commitment to this. The only way to succeed at anything you need to commit to it. Was I not committed to it last time ? I cant say I wasnt, I just couldnt do it. This time, i'll make a bigger commitment and I wont give in as easy, I will fight it.

At the end of the day, each time you try nofap, you learn something and you get a little bit better at it. I think the question is how committed to this are you? I think no fap is an excellent exercise in self control. If you can control your sexual urges, you can control any part or your life, like bad habits etc.
