Lol why are you guys whining about the nerfs. Almost all of them are deserved. Gally had a nerf coming ever since LFG groups would post crap like "Gally Only" even though it isn't necessary to do any content. It's the communities fault for that nerf.

The exotic hand cannons all deserved the nerfs they got. Anyone saying The Last Word required skill is an idiot.



Thorn is nerfed, the stacks apply 1/3 of the old stack so now a 2 shot to the head will only apply 2/3 of the poison and not kill you. As for Hawkmoon the 1 shot kill was so rare anyway that this nerf is meaningless. It will still be one of the best hand cannons but we shall see how the handcannons hold up after the overall nerf.

Only thing I'm worried about is pulse rifles like The Messenger. The nerf does say that max armor will require 3 bursts now so I'm pretty sure they'll be balanced as well. All in all these nerfs are good for the overall balance of the game. The only nerf I don't agree with is on Icebreaker.

3 body shots can be spammed without need of aim or skill. DoT stacking over 2 times now = slight buff.

Thorn poison is 1/3rd per stack now. 3 shots to the body is the same exact poison dmg as it was before the nerf. The only thing nerfed from Thorn is the 2 shot headshot kill which is a large nerf. Hand Cannons as a whole are also getting a dmg nerf at long range. It won't be 3 shot kill to the body unless its mid range and closer. No more Thorn sniping across the map. Thorn will be a 4 shot kill at long range and 3 shot with a headshot or two.

Gally is still going to be the highest output heavy in the game so this nerf by bungee isn't helping. Now instead of 1 or 2 people with a Gally being able to carry a few without you'll need everyone to have it to make it thru stuff. The no Gally no invite groups will be more prominent now.

It's not like it matters, 1 OP gun gets nerfed and another takes its place. There will always be people bitching about 1 gun or another.

I am interested in the buff to necrochasm. For some reason I've always liked/wanted to use it but it was just so damn terrible it was impossible.

I agree. I think they way they are going about the Gally is silly, but oh well.

I don't care about the Gally Nerf. All of the cry babies who don't have one are the reason it's getting crapped on. As you said the ice breaker nerf is rediculous, but a few seconds longer for ammo only really matters in a few situations like if you are in boomer duty. The black hammer of peace and love nerf is what is hurting my balloon knot right now. I love running fate bringer and black hammer

i mean i agree with thorn/tlw nerf and fixing auto rifles for pvp, but really shotguns,gally(which i still dont have),icebreaker, blackhammer??? those are strictly pve weapons. Why make the game more frustrating?

In PVE, they're just making people wait even longer. People will still use it no matter what, i thought 5 seconds was slow enough. That and the *** hammer nerf are the only nerfs that i question about bungies sexuality
