    Saturday 6/5/15: Intensity

    Bench
    225x1, 245x1, 265x1, 245x8 Rep PR +2
--> didnt get the 9 reps but i did get 8 which was an improvement on last week and still a PR. 9 reps was ambitious anyways, but id rather aim to high than to low. Video will be uploaded later. Lockout in the final rep was a tough one

    Sumo Deadlift
    415.5x5 rep PR
-->7.5lb increase over last week, and it took everything I had. I don't know that j would have gotten lockout in the last two if jr had been a pound more. It was quite a battle and I wish I had been able to get it on video

    pull ups
    25 total & 40 push-ups

    Thoughts
didnt sleep well and only got about 3.5-4 hours of sleep but was still able to have a good session and rack up more PRs despite being tired. Weirdly this week my weight ended up being at about 214-214.4 pounds the entire week after being about 211-212.4 pounds all of last week. It jumped one day all f a sudden and then stayed there, so that was kind of weird
Have one more day of phosphamuscle left for tomorrow. Will post the workout, in addition to my video from today as soon as possible.
Also, I will post a final review of Phosphamuscle in the next few days as well as completing an in-store review and posting the link in here . Anything in-particular that any-one following or viewing this log would like to see covered in the final review? If you let me know than I can be sure to address it and post my thoughts

    Saturday 6/6/15

    Bench
    225x2, 245x1, 265x1, 275x1,255x3 (3sets)+135x20

    cleans
    183x1 (4 sets)

    squats
    215x8 (2 sets), 245x1,275x1,295x1,315x1,325x1
--> cleared a major hurdle and went over 315 for the first time since my knee injury.rvery time I tried to go over 315 before this, i would kind of freeze at the bottom coming out of the hole cus I just didn't trust the knee. Very happy i was able to get past this

    Thoughts
well this workout concluded my phosphamuscke supply and this log. Very happy with the progress I was able to make while logging this. Will be posting the final review up in a few days. Again, let me know if there is anything in-particular that you would like me to speak about in the review, and j will be sure to include it

Also, thanks to muscle tech for allowing me to log this product, and also for choosing me for an upcoming log of plasma muscle as well. I will post a link if that log in here whenever it becomes available, so that if you enjoyed this log, you can follow that one as well. And before I forget the video of my bench from Friday is still coming as well. It was a busy weekend, so I apologize it's not up yet

Yeah, not back to where I was or where I want to be but it's a start

And I'm excited for that log too. Such a unique product, and I'm not sure what to expect, but it should be a fun ride

    Final Review

    Phosphamuscle Final Review
Sorry for the delay but here is my final review. Want to give a final thanks to Muscletech for this logging opportunity. And now we will get into the review

    Strength: 10
As far as strength gains are concerned I have nothing but postitive things to say about phosphamuscle. For 6 weeks straight I set PRs on my bench and deadlift. I even pushed the evelope on my deadlifts a few times and went for 7lb increases as opposed to 5lb increases, and each time I got it. There were also a couple times, on deadlifts in particular, that a weight the week before took everything I had to get 5 reps, but the following week I was able to add 5lbs and get it fairly easily. Bottom line, phosphamuscle grades out well in the strength department

Sustained Performance (endurance, rest times): Not applicable
This is a category that I created because while reading other peoples logs, I read where some said they felt that phosphamuscle was helping them with sustained performance throughout their workout and helping them to be able keep strength levels up for longer throughout their sessions. I think that phosphamuscle does help strength levels, both acutely and for week to week progressions, but I personally didn’t really notice any effects in regards to endurance within my workout. Not necessarily a bad thing because I don’t remember Muscletech making the claim that it would do that, but I just wanted to give my thoughts on that aspect since others had mentioned it.

    Recovery: 9
Recovery is included due to the inclusion of tart cherry in the ingredients. One benefit tart cherry is claimed to have is anti-catabolic properties, resulting in better recovery. I do believe I had noticeably better recovery while using phosphamuscle. I don’t mean that I think Phosphamuscle decreased my DOMS or anything, but I did feel better able to lift heavy weights sooner after previous heavy days. I will also say that I think phosphamuscle’s recovery became more noticeable after I started implementing “power and conditioning” workouts into my schedule on the days that were supposed to be OFF days on the Texas Method. Only reason I rate it a 9 is because I think that there are other supplements out there which are better for recovery such as Clear Muscle. Bio Gro also works as far as reducing DOMS, despite the fact that many on the boards will tell you it is crap and doesn’t do anything

    Confidence in the label: 10
I have 100% confidence that this product does in fact have 750mg of PA as the label states. One thing using this product did was make me wary of the label of Cutler King. I hate to blast a product but I honestly did not feel the same benefits while using KING as I did while taking Phosphamuscle, which gives me little to no confidence in the label of KING. Knowing exactly how much PA you are getting is probably the biggest pro of phosphamuscle, because if you are buying a PA product, then you want to know that you are getting PA. I think you can get ample amounts of PA from soy lecithin without any trouble, and reap the benefits of PA for a cheaper price. However, there is still some guesswork involved as far as the exact amount you are getting with soy lecithin, and definitely a lot of guesswork involved with KING in my opinion.

Basically this is how I would break it down for people who want to use PA:
    - If you are bulking and calories are not an issue. Then take Soy lecithin for the cheaper price tag
    - If you are cutting, then take phosphamuscle so that you can save the calories
    - If Soy lecithin gives you GI issues at high doses but you want to take a higher dose of PA. Then buy both soy lecithin and phosphamuscle and take a serving of each. This will be more cost effective than double dosing phosphamuscle.
    - If you think taking tablespoons of SL is inconvenient, then pay the bigger price tag and pop the phosphamuscle caps.

That’s about as well as I can break it down. Both are valid PA options in my opinion and both have their place in the market

Thanks for such a detailed review and log! I'm happy this product was too your liking. See you soon in the PlasmaMuscle logs.

Thanks to you and E for the awesome support in this log as usual ( would have quoted him too but idk how too with the phone. Lol). Great having you guys as regulars in here despite the MANY other logs muscle tech always has going on

also, as a last thing I forgot to throw into the review, I think the Texas Method is a program that runs very well with phosphamuscle. I added in some power and conditioning days to the program and got some great results, but I think you could just as easily add in "bodybuilding days" where you work tris, biceps, shoulders, calves, etc with high rep and lower intensity weights if you are more interested in adding some size. Just don't make those sessions to long, and keep them under an hour so that you don't lose sight of the fact that your goal on the Texas method is to set PRs on the intensity day.
