First day off in what felt like AGES. Got class out of the way in the morning, prescription refilled, more errands done. Finally bought a new food scale for my challenges. (Needed something BIGGER)
And then hammered out my first climbing session on my BRAND NEW ride. And hit 22 all time PRs..
This thing rides like an absolute DREAM. Here she is at the top of my tall climb..
First ride: Climb focus
Came back down: Sprint Focus
Now sitting on the couch, ready to feast and prepare for the week!
Some random stuff..
Potstickers
Chinese chicken salad
Needs moar tan lines lmao

Nice PRs, beautiful bike too, must ride like a dream.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.

A little over ~4.5lb pie (costco). Decided to do some "speed work" with 8oz slices. Ended up getting half down in around 2 minutes.
Slices were 8oz (which will be the size for this weekend) and there will be two slices per plate = 1lb per two slices. (Pies at the contest will be 3 lbs total)
But DAMN costco makes damn good pies!
Pies at knotts will look like this (so they'll be kept together a bit better)
GET STOKED!

Craaazy day today. Worked a half day today but got a call in the AM that my car was FINALLY READY! So, I took a little stroll in to pick it up at the shop and they got me on my way! Just like new again. Mind = blown!
Ride was pretty minimal. But it was fun nonetheless! Got to head to the beach on an AMAZING day outside.
Just finishing up with work now and am about to crush some food!
Hopefully will be getting a training session in tomorrow. Feel like I'm wasting away ATM. lmao

(incase you missed it)
FINALLY
Was able to get back into the gym tonight after a long hiatus. Started light, pretty easy on everything. Granted it WAS 90 degrees outside today and I had just finished my climbing for the day.
Repeats today were KILLER but felt amazing on the new bike. This thing is light as a feather and has so much stiffness and feels amazing. The feeling is almost indescribable. I plowed through 12,000 ft today and was gassed and dehydrated. But It's a night and day difference when you are riding something that actually fits you and isn't too big for your body.
Training session was ~40 minutes and like I said, it was light. Just to get my body/muscles accumulated to the weights again, I'll definitely be sore tomorrow but will trying to get a deadlift session in before the MLE contest this weekend!
Hitting the buffet HARD tonight. It's TIME TO TRAIN!

Must feel good to get into the gym after a break!
Pie notes: Label looks almost exactly like the ones I see in the Publix bakery...and the pie looks delicious. I personally prefer pumpkin > apple. It's about progress, not perfection.

30,000 Calorie Sneak Peak video!
Yesterday, I attempted to eat 30,000 calories. More than an average man will consume in 12 days. I wanted to topple my old "record", especially after suffering a defeat this past weekend at the MLE's pie eating contest. Did I succeed, or did food win? Check out the sneak preview, and of course.. STAY TUNED FOR THE VIDEO!
