More calories. And eat more meals. Anyone can eat 4 times a day if they really want to gain.

Well then you're fukked. If you want to gain, you need calories. So you either find a way to get them down, or learn to be satisfied with your current size.

Drink more milk. Chocolate milk. And eat peanut butter. You can easily add 500-1000 calories with those 2 things, without filling yourself up.

There's no getting around the fact that you need to eat more calories. However, there are some things you can do:

    - Try calorie-dense meals and snacks that pack a big punch with very little volume. A single peanut butter and banana sandwich and a glass of milk can easily add up to a solid 700-800 calories. Two slices of pizza w/ your favorite toppings, omelets w/ sauteed veggies, and cheeseburgers (w/ bacon, vegetables and spread of choice if you so desire) can also add quick and easy calories. Snacks can include ice cream, nuts, trail mix, calorie-dense granola bars (fruit/nut bars are my personal favorite), and crackers w/ dip or cheese, among other things.
    - You don't have to eat 6 meals a day. You can still have 3; just add quick, portable snacks if possible in between your main meals.
    - Make shakes if you really struggle - some people find drinking calories easier. Milk, ice cream, fruit, and PB blend together for a pretty good milkshake.
    - One of the easiest things to do is to add some fat sources. (i.e. Melting cheese or butter onto vegetables, bread, potatoes, and the like) You can get pretty creative and have lots of tasty food yet still get your calories in.
    It's about progress, not perfection.

I'm not an expert when it comes to most aspects of life; sometimes, I have no idea what I'm doing. The more I learn, the more I can do, and the more I can pay it forward and help others.

Have to consume more calories than you use up, no way around it.

Look man, I know this can be a problem for some, but this does not compute. What are the macros of this 3000 cals? Sources? What is the most chocolate milk you have consumed in a day? How many cals in nuts can you eat prior to becoming ill? Ever tried a glass of juice with your breakfast? What about extra butter on your toast? What is your favorite carb? For me it's rice or cheerios, while some things are more filling I can eat those two endlessly it seems without getting full.

Experiment, test options, don't give up.
