After seeing a hard workout you may want to complain and want others to pity you for the work you have to do. Your mom will pity you. Your girl will pity you. I may pity you, but your competition will not pity you. They will step on you, walk over you and spit on you. Boris Sheiko

Does anybody else look like a grandma at work, propping their back up with a pillow in the chair? I swear my 9-5 is going to be the death of my spine.

little premature here, conservatively there's still about 1000 posts to go in part XVII

Advice on lifting through an illness? Felt weak as fuk Mon/Tues. Wed it was attributed to strep-like symptoms, though i tested negative. They gave me anti-biotics anyways because i have a two month old baby. Chills are gone and i feel less chitty but still have a sore throat. Oaf through the workout or give it a few days before getting back into the gym? I work out at home so don't worry, I'm not that ******* getting gym mates ill.
I'm going to lift heavy things until I can lift even heavier things.

illness usually kills endurance for me. I'm usually down some on limit strength, but can hit my planned weights. Though usually I require longer rest periods. Symptom control is the hardest part, especially if you have any kind of weak feeling or any respiratory issues. Not being able to breathe easily is what takes me out. If you can take enough OTC stuff to feel less dead, and can breathe, you can grind through a session as long as you weren't looking to do a max or a lot of volume.
