Congrats Baize.
In sad news....gave away first place in a contest over the weekend. Ended up in third after a horrible last event. Makes me want to rage.

Congrats Baize!
My condolences thom.
For obvious reason I'm a fan of Adrian Larsen, but the content he has been putting out lately has been making me like him even more. Seems like a really cool guy, just trying to throw around some weights. He just seems to have a really cool perspective.
Also, LOL@ someone giving Arn a hard time about calling 'feet up' presses 'Larsen Presses' a few months back in the 5 hundred thread. Adrian calls them that in his book, AND has clothing with #LarsenPress on the front.More weight is always more impressive... ShortDave

I think he said he was born with his hips dislocated. His episode of the powercast was my favourite out of the recent ones. I want Mark to actually get more powerlifters on there, I am just not interested in a lot of the guests the last while.

Its called hip resurfacing. They had to reshape the femur head and put a chromium cobalt cap on it, and then drill out the acetabulum and put a chromium cobalt cup. In doing so, they lengthened my right leg by 1.6 cm, to make it even with my left. It will take about 6 months but I should end up with full ROM, something I have never had. Also, will get rid of the bone on bone pain.

Are you saying in his e-book he says a feet up bench like this is also Larson press?
If that's the case that's pretty weird because the mechanics of benching like that and a legs straight out bench (which I thought was the only Larson press) are IMO completely different. Having done both plenty having your feet actually on the bench allows you to get much more arch and maintain it, and you can resort to a bit of leg drive if you have to. In contrast legs straight out you can't get or maintain nearly as much arch (especially in lower back obviously) and have no leg-drive backup recourse when it gets hard. Also considering I've never seen him do a bench with his feet actually up in the 2 years I trained at the same gym as him and that benching with your feet up predates his training by a lot, that's kinda weird if he's trying to also name that a "larson press" IMO.
No hate, I think he's an amazing lifter and was right there when he broke the WR cheering him on a filming him, just asking for some clarification.Awesome pics. Great size. Look thick. Solid. Tight. Keep us all posted on your continued progress with any new progress pics or vid clips. Show us what you got man. Wanna see how freakin' huge, solid, thick and tight you can get. Thanks for the motivation.

Conventional deadlift brahs, how wide is your stance? I started out pulling close stance, over time its moved out wider to get a better starting position and get more leg drive off the floor(or so I thought)
But today i was playing around with deadlifts for the second time in 4 months and on one set I moved my feet in pretty close together, and it was way faster off the floor and easier to lock out.
