Guys, specifically the strongman boys, has anyone used Vulkan brand compression gear? Does it compare to rehband? I'm trying to decide whether to get the 60$ Vulkan vs 120$ back brace from rehband. One will ship in like 3 days and the other is an unknown company to me.

thinking im about screwed for my deadlift. meet is april 18th. couldnt even hit 545 with reverse bands today when last year i was able to hit 620. gonna yolo it.

Tfw you have an AMAZING set of out of nowhere.
Did 497x3 @9 on sumo deadlift on Sunday which felt very solid and very happy. Yesterday the plan was heavy doubles before the competition so I put on 508.
Hit it for 2 reps - easy. Hit it for another rep - easy. Another - moderate. Got it for 5 reps although wouldn't count 5th as came very forward so lost balance and had up/down motion. ME Stiff legs tonight. Gonna try for 495 for a triple. Hit 455x5 3 weeks ago with the stiff bar.

IMO, Rehband is better by a long shot....but Vulkan isn't bad for the money. I didn't like using the soft belt very much and sold it to a guy that uses it all the time and loves it. I know a few guys who have nothing bad to say about the Vulkan, so for half the cost, it may be worth a shot.
