Forum newb, should I keep cutting and Macro advice?

    Hi people

I'm new to the forum and this is my first post, so go easy on me lol.

Bit of background: I'm on a cut and eating around 2000cals. I've worked out that my BMR is ~1700cals and TDEE is ~2300cals. Current macro split is 40/35/25 (200c/175p/56f), but after watching an old Michael Kory video the split worked out at like 35/35/30, so now I'm not sure whether I should up my fat and drop carbs or not for better results.
My day job is sitting at a desk and I try to lift around 3-4 times a week (upper/lower body splits) not really any cardio apart from walking the dog and a 5-10min warm up on a bike before each session.

I know with a cut you're going to lose some muscle but I'm feeling bloody tiny, and I'm not looking much better for it after 2months. As with most people, I want to drop fat and gain muscle lol. So I'm now thinking could I bulk and then cut before summer (June/July)? Or should I stick with the cut and adjust calories? Or look at changing when I eat carbs?

I'm just lost really. I've attached some current photos for reference.

    Thanks for reading my essay.

Fat, after basic needs, and carbs are basically a wash.

I tend to go with higher carbs and do it before a workout for energy. Carbs also tend to make me fuller.
My story: 204 lbs --> 138 lbs. --> Currently on my way back up!

    Starting Strength Status (8.20.15)

    Squat (3x5) - 245 lbs.
    Military Press (3x5) - 95 lbs.
    Deadlift - 240 lbs.
    Bench - 150 lbs.
    Power Clean - TBD

So, leave the carbs for breakfast and pre-workout then?

I've cut them out after 8pm.

Not necessarily. Have enough to get through the workout, then have the rest whenever you want. Just make sure you get through the workout.

So what do you think about the bulk/cut? Shall I slow cut for another 5 months?
