    Bicep tendonitis / tense shoulders

I had a couple sessions with a PT for some upper bicep tendonitis causing my shoulder pain. I also get a mild 'fraying' type noise when I do a 'front raise' type movement.

He gave me some exercises to loosen up my bicep tendon as well as isometric bicep curls... neither made much difference.

I've also been doing a lot of strengthening exercises for my:
    - lower traps
    - external rotators
    - middle back
    - serratus anterior

    And mobility-wise:
    - Chest / lat / upper traps stretches
    - Scapular wall slides

The above feel like they've helped my problem, but I just cant get it to go away.

Aswell as that, my upper traps (on both sides) feel very overactive and my shoulders keep shrugging / hunching - I notice it a lot just when Im walking. I'm guessing this is related... but despite all of the above, they just wont settle down.

Any ideas what else I should try?
