    Tmisc Squat Challenge! Gtfih

    The rules:

    you have 7 days to submit a video of you performing a no handed back squat, in the style of the legendary strongman and showman Koklyaev, there will be no need to show all the plates individually, we will operate on an honour system. there will be two weight classes, under 200lb and over 200lb, and Meadey and myself will try and gather as many higher reppers as possible to rep the two winners, will add a list of the reps available to this post when we have some people together, as well as a list of those competing in the two categories.

    I'm probably gonna give this a shot, I got a triple PR today, probably try handless up my warm-up sets and if I reach 180 like that I'll put myself in. If not, I'll hold out and see what everyone else does. I'm not even gonna try this on a work set PR without spotters, if that **** falls off up top and lands on the rack something's gonna dent.

    I was going to try 180 today, but I got to 140 and some guy wanted the rack and I didn't want to hold him up, I think 180 will be pretty easy though

    felt normal, just gotta make sure you're balanced. I don't mind doing it in public, it's more than anyone else squats anyway haha

    The exact same thing that happens if you drop the bar when your hands are on it. If you've ever passed out on squats that **** falls. This ain't even a big deal though, it's a ****ing forum challenge, just put on some decent weight that you can bust out reps at, and submit that. I can't imagine the bar rolling off though, when I go into the 5 range it literally digs in so good your hands don't do ****, and I'm a LB squatter so got that good angle that keeps it there. Chalk up your back, get a couple spotters if you're really bothered about it, and go for it. Work up in weight, and stop when it feels like it's getting too much.
