Beyonce likely is more of a natural talent than Beck. But Beck is certainly more innovative.

Ask yourself this, who is doing more for the world of music? The girl who sings songs written by others and marketed to the masses using tried and true formulas guaranteed to make money and make a bunch of old rich white guys rich? Or the weird dude doing experimental stuff and pushing boundaries on his own terms (whether his music sucks or not)?

I'm a big Beck fan, but this has been probably his safest album to date. A lot of the weird elements he puts into his songs were watered down. I was shocked he was nominated, let alone won. Still kicks the schit out of the other nominees though

listening to a few songs from becks new album posted in here... he seems to of gone John Denver style... Its peaceful and I enjoy it. Not my main style of music but neither is country and I find a few good songs here n there.

Whether you believe it or not, Soulja Boy is actually one of the main pioneers for how hip hop is handled and even created today. Many of the Atlanta artists that are popular right now were influenced vastly by the music of Soulja. (And obviously ***** Mane, since he is from Atlanta).
