Reality hit when I was 13 and one of my younger sisters friend said I had the face of a monkeys butt. At first I thought she was a legit retard. Until I repeated the story back to my school peers, hoping for their support, only to hear absolute silence and then a quick subject change

Life changed from then on. The cotton wool was torn off me. Its warmth and safety to be replaced by the cold harsh reality I was soon to face in my senior years

Around that age we had some family friends over. Their daughter was like 8. Me around 11. I thought she had a crush on me. She was always looking at me. Then I heard her whisper something in my sisters (no pics) ear. Thought it was about her liking me/being good looking etc etc so I asked her what she whispered. Completely forgot about that until recently though.

Up until about 18 I thought I was just your stock standard 5/10 bloke not good not bad even though at the same time I would avoid looking in the mirror.

TBH I actually think I'm a 5/10 in terms of facial aesthetics when I don't have acne (which unfortunately isn't a lot of the time) but with my acne I'm like a 3.

Could be worse as I'm 6'5" and have been told I have a nice "swimmers body" by more than person but just my luck facial aesthetics is the most important. Something that you have very little control over.

Maybe I'm judging myself too harshly. I mean my acne has improved heaps the last year since I've been on Epiduo and although it looks bad currently, during the last year my confidence went heaps higher, I lost my virginity, always hook up with bishes at clubs and now have a FWB who adores me. Once I was told by a waitress (50yo srs) I looked like Channing Tatum. U wot m8. I wish.

I guess we all have to play the hand we are dealt. Sometimes I get pissed though as I've never seen anyone else in my family or even extended family with half the acne that I have had it doesn't seem like it will go away naturally.

Tbh though some ugliness can be overcome with confidence. I can remember a couple nights when the weed mixed perfectly with the booze and every ounce of fear left my body and every chick I looked at eye fkd me, srs. There's something about the way you make eye contact that can convey pure alpha. Those nights I would just look at her right her eyes with a smile and it didn't matter what I said, she was listening. Luckily us average Bros go a long way with some charisma, lifting, a good haircut, and being well dressed. I'm willing to bet the same for everyone else in this thread.
