**** Official Bloodborne Thread (PS4 Exclusive) ****

Figured it's time for a concentrated thread. Game releases March 24.

Bloodborne is an upcoming action-role playing video game being developed by From Software and published by Sony Computer Entertainment exclusively for the PlayStation 4. It is being directed by director Hidetaka Miyazaki. It's worth noting this man did not contribute to creating Dark Souls 2, he just made sure everything ran smooth in production. He is the mind behind Demons Souls, and Dark Souls.

the fact that dark souls 2 was actually well received and even remade has made me lose all faith in this series.

Comparing Dark Souls 2 to games like Demons and Dark is unfair, those games were 10/10 no doubt. As a standalone game Dark Souls 2 is very good, as a FROM game it's Garbage. It offers the smoothest Sword/Shield game play out there, and that's fun.

I'm thankful that's FROM best devs were working on Bloodborne while the B team worked on Dark Souls 2. Seriously they've been working on Bloodborne since the release of Artorias of the Abyss DLC for DS1.

why not use both teams to complete a 10/10 dark souls 2 in half the time then use both teams to develop bloodborne after

any chance the bloodborne main character is big hat logan?

Easier to just keep your main FROM team and develop Blodbourne and outsorce Dark Souls 2. That was you stay up with your new game and have a money maker while your working on a Next gen exclusive.

And no absolutely not. This will not be connected to Dark Souls in any way. It may be connected to Demons Souls, and we know the word Umbasa is used in bloodborne. Umbasa is a term similar to Amen. You pray to a God then say "Umbasa". So the likely tie would be Demons Souls

dark souls 2? if by smooth you mean everything feels like its made out of styrofoam, then yes dark souls 2 is smoothest.
This is why I feel so bleakly about the game, the people that like the series so much don't even realize that everything mechanically is a legitimate downgrade going from dks1 to dks2.

Combine this with the corporate idea that dark souls 2 = major success; "prepare to die fighting to grab a ps4 for this goty cinematic console exclusive revolutionary graphics movie game" (and dont forget to pre-order your early access to the remake thats coming out exclusively on the ps4.5)

and I'm severely pessimistic about bloodborne.

Can't wait for Bloodborne either. It's an excuse to turn on my PS4. Hopefully there's a good story to it too. I felt like I was just roaming around in the souls games.

It's all good. I was super surprised there wasn't on when I made this one. I guess everybody is too apprehensive to get on the hype train with all the recent failures coming out.

I'm operating the hype train though, and I'm at full steam.

The monster design, from what I've seen so far, has got to be the best of any Souls game I've seen. There's just something deeply disturbing about every enemy
