That would probably be best since you're new to the series. One of the best weapons (Ludwig's holy blade) in this game scale with str, skill, and arcane.

Any idea what I should be putting into leveling just started and made it back to doll with 5.8k echoes. Just not sure what to spec into.

Hit 30 vit and 20 endurance first always. Then pump whatever you like up to 25 which is the soft cap. For a first run through going quality which means 25 str and 25 skill is a good idea and you'll be able to use all weapons. A good quality build for just messing around and pvping is 50 vit, 40 end, 25 str, 25 skill, 15 arcane, and 5 bloodtinge.

My god, he was terrifying. The soundtrack that played in his second form was GOAT too. So far, awesome expansion. Its a shame this is the only one we're likely to get.

Any of you still play this game/PVP/Co-Op?

I bought it a little more than a week ago and had it complete a few days back. It felt shorter than any Dark Souls title but I love it more than the Souls games.

I'm currently on NG plus trying to platinum it. I missed out on Ebrietas and haven't gotten the Yharnam Sunrise and the one you get for killing Gehrman only, also haven't done the acquire all weapons trophy and the rare bloodgem trophy.

One of the best games I've ever played. Not even that far into it. Might become my favorite game of all time when it's all said and done.

Okay I enjoy some good ole bloodborne and really love the Lovecraft aesthetic but it definitely has some flaws for me.

I have Elden Ring on backlog so pls no spoilers but can @ohio tell me why he prefers BB?

Elden Ring INSTANTLY become one of my top 5 games of all time, but BB is still in my top 5. Elden Ring is bigger in every way, but that also means BB is a more focused experience
Elden Ring has like 80+ bosses (I'm not kidding) so they can't all be winners, there's so much to do it can be hard to choose where to go, etc. Plus the vibe, design, music etc of Bloodborne has a horror theme so they have very different styles. Also Muzzlrpress is not very good at Bloodborne.

Both are very, VERY good games and while I probably prefer Elden ring I've beaten BB at least six times. It's a got damm masterpiece.

If someone were to put a gun to my head and make me give an example that proves gaming is art, I’d show them Bloodborne. The art style, the atmosphere, the music, the crazy lovecraftian story, etc. It just does it for me. It also had possibly the best dlc ever. It’s the perfect standalone game that needs no sequel.

If you look online you can find chalice seed codes for specific dungeons where you can buy/loot forgotten and defiled versions of all the weapons. They have different gem slot configurations. You're already done with the plat so grab so optimal versions of your favorite gear.
