My mistake.
I thought I remembered her getting popped the year before, too. Could have been another member of Russia's national team.
I'm not assuming that she is using now, just benefiting from the effects of past use. The point is that she has tested positive. I'm not knocking down her achievements, just stating that she had some help getting there.
And I can't tell you for a fact that the dudes in that pic have never "supplemented" (it is very possible and indeed likely that at least one has). I just don't have any reason to assume they did or accuse them of it as they haven't ever tested positive like Tatyana did (that I know of).

The problem with the drug test lottery is it isn't all encompassing, corrupt and susceptible to bureaucracy. I can still remember how the media tore Floyd Landis a part for testing positive to doping...yet Lance Armstrong managed to skirt all of the test and doping allegations until the last few years. And even then, much of it was based on his own admission.
I guess it is the statistician in me...obviously the test method is severely flawed given how many people do dope and don't test positive or avoid getting tested all together. Either come up with a better test method that has a higher percentage of accuracy or scrap it completely.Workout Log / Chat thread...Embrace the Dragon: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=169711903

Exactly. LOL. Figured that was the case cause I know that in order for my feet to reach the pedals, I have to have my seat as far forward as it will go. My mechanic is around 6'4"...he has difficulty trying to get the car seat to go back from outside the car. Not that he can't do it, but it is far more difficult for him to do it, than for me to push it back before I get out of the car...so I try to remember than when I can.

Taxpayers Spend $3.5 Million to Find Out Why Lesbians Are Fat
http://www.mrctv.org/blog/taxpayers-...t#.06rsfq:S4GX
According to the study, “It is now well-established that women of minority sexual orientation are disproportionately affected by the obesity epidemic, with nearly three-quarters of adult lesbians overweight or obese, compared to half of heterosexual women. In stark contrast, among men, heterosexual males have nearly double the risk of obesity compared to gay males.”

Didn't even notice the BMI blame at the end.
BMI is only one measurement of many that doctors use to infer health. While reasonably accurate for some, like all things, it does not act as a pure litmus test for every case. Many measurements are taken and used to infer health -- you know that and you're just using the same bandwagon rhetoric the HAS folks do to thrown the baby out with the bathwater. You can't say doctors have no idea how to infer health just because one measurement may categorize you differently than another. I can't believe I have to explain things like this to an adult...
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says "BMI is a fairly reliable indicator of body fatness for most people."
BMI is a person's weight in kilograms divided by the square of height in meters. BMI does not measure body fat directly, but research has shown that BMI is moderately correlated with more direct measures of body fat obtained from skinfold thickness measurements, bioelectrical impedance, densitometry (underwater weighing), dual energy x-ray absorptiometry (DXA) and other methods. Furthermore, BMI appears to be as strongly correlated with various metabolic and disease outcome as are these more direct measures of body fatness. In general, BMI is an inexpensive and easy-to-perform method of screening for weight category, for example underweight, normal or healthy weight, overweight, and obesity.

I'm saying health is better measured via blood pressure, cholesterol testing, checking blood sugar, etc. BMI is no indicator at all of health.
I have no problem with using BMI as an indicator of "fatness". See my previous posts. I am well into overweight and close to obese, I have no problem with that. It is others ITT who rank as "overweight" or higher who claimed BMI is bullchit because they aren't comfortable with "fatass" status.
Do not mistake me with some of the self hating fatties on this site. I have zero problem with my size. I just choose not to sit by silently while scrawny *******s talk chit in a thread about me and mine.
I'm gonna need a bigger crowd.

As quoted above - BMI has a moderate correlation with body fat which in turn is correlated with overall "health". It is a screening method along with the others you stated (blood pressure, cholesterol, etc.) that is a part of the picture doctors use to infer health. When any of these is taken alone without consideration of the bigger picture, they cannot tell you much at all. But, that doesn't make any of them (including BMI) useless. Have you ever looked into statistics or analyzed data? These are simple things that everyone does every day (inferring information from data). How do you not understand this?
Also, I think you're mistaking BB.com for another site if you think folks are butthurt about being considered overweight or obese by BMI standards. I see most hold it as a badge of honor. Low BF + High BMI is a goal for many.

I believe that the other factors have better than a "moderate" correlation to health. I could be mistaken, tho. I'm not a doctor.
No, of course they aren't worried about themselves. It is all those other overweight/obese people who are the problem. Amirite?
I don't expect self awareness from the Misc.
